How not to be a football millionaire by Keith Gillespie, it's a brilliant book, well worth the read. Really honest and fun:

Great story, The Newcastle United players are in a bar, Keith Gillespie is very drunk and starts flicking bottle tops at Alan Shearer, Alan tells him to stop, so Keith challenges him to a fight outside. They get outside... Keith swings first... next thing he knows he opens his eyes and is surrounded by people in white coats... yup he's in A&E lol!

You should read Shut Up and Give Me the Mic by Dee Snider. You needn't be a Twisted Sister fan, but it sounds like you'd like it. The story of the rise and fall of a celebrity. As opposed to Gillespie, Snider was sober all the time.
I'll give that Gillespie book a gander if I can find it somewhere.

I don't actually like football much as a sport but I do like to read about interesting people, Stan Collymore, Lee Sharpe, Gazza, and Robbie Fowler those type of people. I'm more of a rugby person :)

Rugby person? I thought those were a myth.
All kidding aside, I was a fan of Twisted Sister and Dee Snider in my early youth, but I bought the book for what an interesting life he had, so there you go. Read it.

I dunno man. It's obviously written that way intentionally. Seems more like a joke book than an "actual" children's book.
