It seems with every single quest pack release, the rumor that "this is the end!" or "they're winding down" gets repeated all over the internet. To be honest, it drives me a little crazy. haha
I thought it worth sharing what Michael (Avalon Hill Product Management Team) posted to the official Avalon Hill Discord just yesterday (Feb. 17, 2026) (Bolded text added by me for emphasis):
Michael @ Avalon Hill wrote:Many things hide in the inricate workings of Zargon's master plan.... While I cannot reveal this master plan, I can tell you that the HQ team is hard at work. For now, we will celebrate the launch of Wizards of Morcar which is a massive milestone for us as a team as we continue to prepare, plan, and create what comes next for adventurers in the world of HeroQuest...
(I cannot confirm or deny any future development and roadmaps haha - I will say that HeroQuest is a major part of Avalon Hill and brand we are VERY excited for the future of.)

Firstly, I apologies if it seemed like I was spouting doom & gloom, that wasn't the intention.
Secondly, thank you so very much for the link Nlinindoll, I have been struggling to find somewhere that gives news and updates on the latest content of HeroQuest. I checked Hasbro's website, AH's website, AH's facebook page but without any luck.
Perhaps now I'll be in the loop!
The fact I couldn't find any new information anywhere I looked is what made me consider the winding down in the first place xD.
Not seeing anything promoting the new expansions also didn't help, compared when it first released, it felt like the hype from AH or Hasbro was declining.
Kurgan did a good job listing the reasons why people could be thinking this way (some of which I wasn't aware of).
Anyway, thanks again Nlinindoll, the link you provided should hopefully put peoples minds at ease, if only for a while xD.
