They pick either the ability to heal 1 pt as an action, or cast a mini 1 pt fireball as an action.
These are not full spells, more like cantrips, and whichever one they pick they will always have
even after they become full wizards with full spells.

Hammer intro page 1
The HAMMER OF HADRAKKA
The adventure continues. The Hammer of Hadrakka is a Quest Pack used with your original Hero Quest game System. You must have the Game System in order to play the adventures in this booklet.
Contents: 3 Ogres (assembly required), Carnivorous Caveworm (assembly required), I Stone Golem, 2 Rockmoles, 1 Female Dwarf Hero, 3 Dwarf fighters, a 10 by 18 inch cardboard sheet, this Questbook, and 30 assorted cards.
All components should be carefully removed from the cardboard sheet. New game components are described below
NEW COMPONENTS
Worm/Mole Holes (3) When called for, take three plastic door stands from the Game System. The worm/mole holes should be fitted into the door bases. The holes function just like open doors, but indicate passages fraught with danger.
The Dwarven Forge (1)
The forge is the place where the Hammer of Hadrakka was made. It can only be unmade by dropping it back into the forge of its birth.
The Mountains of Myst (2 different)
Two of the square terrain areas represent the hills and valleys you must cross in order to find the halls of Borognogg. Movement in the mountains is special. Only one figure represents the whole party of adventurers when moving in the valleys. Terrain features of note on the map are Hills (brown), Rivers, (blue), grasslands, (It green), and forests (dark green tree symbols) Forces of Zargon ase represented by face down skull and rubble markers. Combat occurs when one side enters the same space as the other, battles are fought on the mapboard, ignoring all Walls.
The Twisted Tunnels (2 different)
On the reverse side of the two valley maps are two different twisted tunnel complexes These represent both the convoluted tunnels carved by the Rock Moles, and the passages mined by the dwarves of old in their starch for Dwarfmetal and Gems.
Additional Damage Markers (to be determined)
As there are many high level enemies to be found in the mines and tunnels of Berognogg, a set of numbered markers (multiple skulls) has been provided to supplement the skulls used to mark body points lost by the creatures of Chaos. Additionally, there a colored multiple skull markers to record lost mind points under the bases of the creatures of Chaos

Thank you very much Luca, to share the treasure you have found. For me, this is closure. A quest completed. I think there's not much more to find. You hold the final lost knowledge.
(ps: I donated to Luca and YeOldeInn to say thanks.)
