It does say to give the Heroes the Monster Cards, but it doesn't say to tell them special character's stats. If you did you'd pretty much also have to hand over the Chaos Spells too. Takes the excitement out.

Making monster cards for them also generates difficulties for the few occasions where you shall draw a card from the deck.

I don't reveal the monsters too fast - suspense being one reason. But for the special characters also to not give away their weakness, if they have one. After they have encountered them, I tell them.

Worst was the Ogre hordes first time I played it. I was hero. I did not figure out their Body Point rule until the fifth or sixth kill. |_P :dwarf:
By the way we have no wizards of Morcar nor Ogre Hordes Smileys. Catastrophic!

I built this Crow Cage out of paper clips (and two popsicle sticks, a 25mm base, a crappy Mantic skeleton, string, green stuff, hot glue, and super glue).

I think it i passable for my table, just don't look too closely at it. :skeleton: :D

Modding the skeleton to get him in the right pose and inside the cage was a lot of fun. Before I put his arms on, you could slide him in and out.

You can vote for it or one of the other very cool entries in the TableTop Crafters Guild March competition.

Watch the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4UPoQue23as (DM Scotty's MS PaperClip impression as "Mr. Hanky" is a riot!)

Your humility is in the wrong place here. That cage is awesome. Must have been a barbarian adventurer walking into the dungeon all loinclothed like that... Goblins stole his boots, too.

It never hurts to endorse Wyloch and DMScotty...

Pure class Whitebeard.
I'm always impressed when such meagre ingredients are used to create something that looks so good.

Great stuff. If I made a model out of paper clips and popsicle sticks it would look like a model of paper clips and popsicle sticks!

This!

Also I've actually painted something again. Had an old second hand poorly-painted Wave Serpent laying around.
Decided it was about time to really break in the airbrush. No stripping the old paint. No prepping of any kind. Just testing the airbrush on an almost throwaway model. How much could I accomplish and how fast?

Image

I'm not as modest as whitebeard... I think it looks freaking amazing considering I've only spent a couple of hours on it.

It does.
Did you completely layer the lights from dark to light or did you put some blue glazes as intermediate steps over lighter layers,
and did you stop at pur white or is there still some blue in the lightest lights?
