Printing custom boards

I'm not looking to make a board.
I'm trying to find inexpensive printing services.

Yeah... My advise is not to and make it yourself.

Print and play games can make you whatever size board you want, .

The site claims ANY size board.
The "custom boards (any size)" option only goes up to 13×19
Which is much smaller than the 18×24 HQ board.
But it's the ONLY option to get a double sided print.
And they're flat mats, whichis what I'm looking for.
The deluxe boards have an 18×24 option.
But they're thick ACTUAL game boards with black backs so no two sided prints.

Yeah....I don't think you did that right. There's a calculator on that page to walk you through it. However, to get 18x24 requires a 2 part folding board (onthe cheap - usually double sided option). Since it needs two parts to make it will be only single sided, even on the cheap option.

Wouldn't double sides just result in the back side getting scuffed?

If I were printing custom boards I would do 30mm.

I was thinking something simple.
Like a plain paper/poster like material laminated.
I don't need the actual gameboard.
Just some area map to lay on top of the original board.

This still sounds like buying a color printer for 60 bucks, printing what you need and then laminating it with a laminator for 15 bucks.
I don't see what inexpensive service you want for that. Do you know someone in an office who has access to these two appliances?

I've got a regular standard size printer.
I don't know how to properly print it from home.
The "inexpensive service" would be finding a local print shop to print a 18×24 in game-map at a low price.
But all I've found were places charging $30 to $50 per map.

So I'm looking for suggestions, online stores with low prices, affordable alternatives, etc.

Have you checked with Office Depot and/or UPS store to see if they can print it on a plotter and then laminate it? Shouldn't be expensive.
