I voted for an Orc Boss. Many Quests call for one, so it would be good to have an HQ style one to use. A wounded knight doesn't seem very useful. Morcar/Zargon would never get used. Balur is just a Chaos Sorcerer. A zombie mage could be useful. The Witch Lord has his own Quest Pack, so would be useful.

I'm mostly going by a cost stand point of what is useful the most.

My vote was Ragnar, but I was going back and forth between him and the Witch Lord. I think a generic Orc boss would be good to have. Actually, just a generic boss of all of the monster types would be good.

Second. Ulag or Grak, they are the same vote to me (though I went straight warlord.) I trust Mr. Naismith can do better than my proxy efforts, and waaay better than an Orc with a notched sword.

Isn't the orc with the notched sword literally the orc bosses?
Isn't the chaos sorcerer literally supposed to be the Witch Lord?

No option for female wizard based on toco's findings?

I think we're dealing with game system additions here. Literally, a "first" figure to be sculpted.
A female wizard, to me, belongs in a bigger project, meaning a whole quest pack, much later in a suggested series of prioritized HQ additions.
The Wizard Quest Pack has never been a HeroQuest product, hanging in production limbo.

That being said, not even the female Elf and Barbarian from the NA expansions fit the style of original HQ, so they would have to be done new and awesome.
Let's face it, these things look like they belong into Dragonstrike with its horrible minis.
I know, I know, pink glasses of nostalgia...

I like the female elf and barbarian... :(

I know I kinda missed the other thread, but how about the dwarf king skeletons?
What we also badly need is Kessandria The Witch Queen from RotWL.

Anyways, I voted sir Ragnar. Personally I use the AHQ knight as Ragnar. But an actually wounded/chained knight would be pretty cool.
I use the Talisman fire mage as Balur. Regular zombie as Karlen.

I guess what I'm kinda saying is that a set would be vastly more interesting than just a single mini.
Ragnar, Karlen, Grak and Balur.

Who sculpted the NA Quest Pack monsters? To technically fit in HQ theme...that person would be needed for a female Wizard and Dwarf. Were there any other EU rumored Quest Packs?

I don't believe the notched sword Orc is the boss as there are more than one of the mini given in KK. It is more like a suggestion to use. Witch Lord seems a different category than a Chaos Sorcerer, otherwise that figure would be called "use the Witch Lord figure to represent Sir Ragnar."

the orc with the snotched sword is supposed to be used to represent the Orc Boss, there is just one of his kind in the orc sprue. KK used the same sprue from the basic game so another snotched sword orc is there too.
Anyway it doesn't really fit the image of a great boss, but there are many other Citadel orcs hat can take this role instead.
As Geofonos sayd, there is already a Sir Manfred/Ragnar custom sculpt (author's name is Bombur and very few copies have been printed).
I will vote instead for better female figures, the female Barbarian is nice but the female Elf is really too tiny for my tastes (all the new figures from the EQP are smaller in proportions than other HQ minis) and seems she's handling a banana instead of a knife, while the female Barbarian is even taller than the male Barbarian.
As a great fan of wizards, I would love to have a female Wizard sculpted by Bob, but currently I found a Citadel mini that fit pretty good her role.
Also there are rumours about the Witch Lord being still alive and he will soon rise (once again) from his tomb...

If you read the text, the notched sword orc is not a "boss" mini.
The other special "bosses" use the same type of wording.
They just give suggestions of what mini to use.

"Use the Orc figure with the large sword to represent Ulag."

"Use an Orc figure for Grak. He is an extra tough-looking Orc who is holding a staff exactly like the one described in the Armory on the cardboard platform. Grak is also wearing a Wizard's Cloak."

"Use the Chaos Warlock figure to represent Sir Ragnar on the board."

"Use the Chaos Warlock figure for Balur."

"Use the Chaos Warlock figure to represent the Witch Lord on the board."
