At this stage, you can't add in the notes marks (A, B, C, etc).

The question mark item cannot be made invisible.

Another very important note about saving ready made quests is not to make anything invisible. When you make an item invisible, that item can only be made visible by the Morcar player who made them invisible in the first place. This is due to the fact that invisible items are owned not by the Morcar player, but by the password of the Morcar player who made them invisible. Let me try to explain this with an example:

I am the Morcar player. My Vassal password is GOLF. I create a quest, make a bookshelf invisible and save the quest. Someone else decides to use that saved quest. They choose to be Morcar. They're password on Vassal is BALL. When they load the saved quest, they will not be able to see the bookshelf.

If I originally left the bookshelf visible, the new Morcar could simply load the quest, select the bookshelf and make it invisible before any other players join the game.

This is the only way to share quests at this time.

After reading your last post, I tried loading a v7 map in v8 again "as Morcar player" and it came up, but all the icons needed to be realigned. I think the new board has shifted right and down slightly due to the new black borders.

Ah yes, I forgot to mention that. It's easy to fix though, as all you need to do is select everything at once (click and drag) and then move the pieces the short amount.

v8 is leaps and bounds from v7 in design. The condensed menus and streamlined layout is far more pleasing to the eye, and makes setting up and playing a quest easier.

Suggestions (if possible):
  1. Option to save hero inventory saved separately and import into quests, or import inventory from previously saved quests.
  2. Have markers for spear and blade traps. It would be nice for the Morcar player to have something that can be made invisible when setting up quests ahead of time to distinguish between these tile-less traps.
  3. BP tracker that Morcar can keep in inventory to track Ogre BP the original Ogre Horde way.
  4. Option for Morcar to make Hero characters invisible for the purpose of having "captured" heroes set-up ahead of time.
  5. Ability to add to, or alter the treasure deck (hopefully when expansions with treasure cards become available at least)
  6. I think there was one other suggestion, but I can't remember what it is right now.

Are you still in need of anything for the other expansions? My photography skills still suck, but have improved somewhat. Might be able to try the minis again should you need them.

I noticed a couple times playing Heroes that furniture pieces in rooms with tiles would occasionally disappear from my screen during nearby movement and Morcar had to click on them to make them reappear again. Nothing else odd or buggy has happened.

Looking forward to Wizards of Morcar.

1. Unfortunately, you can't save individual inventories.
2. Spear and bladed markers - Good idea, I'll add them to the next update.
3. I'll see what I can do about this one.
4. Can do.
5. This can be done, but it will require significant changes to the way Treasure cards are currently set up. This one may take some time.
6. No worries, the more suggestions the better.

Currently I'm waiting for HeroQuestFrance to get back to me with his photos. I'll give him some more time but if he is too busy, I may call on you.

At the moment, Tiles and Furniture occupy the same layer hence why you are getting that bug. I'll shift Furniture to a higher layer.

Thanks for the response.

Perhaps with the later expansions, the treasure deck could at least be a select-able option. Have preset decks with the expansion cards already added, instead of adding more cards to the current deck. Players/Morcar just need to remember which deck to draw from. Might make it easier to implement.

Hey, Lurch, can you make the Iron Entrance doors and Wooden Exit doors open?

And maybe an open Stone door... though, there really isn't an open stone door tile in the actual game so maybe that one isn't necessary.

drathe: Which expansions introduce new treasure cards? I'm not familiar with this option. Or do you mean you want to add you own homebrew cards?

AerynB: I'll add those in the next update.

Wizards of Morcar, Mage of the Mirror and The Frozen Horror each come with additional cards to expand the treasure deck.

Well that explains it as I've not played any of those expansion packs. ;)
