That order form is a haunting memory for me. Back when Hero Quest was still on the shelves about a year past its popularity, I got tired of holding out for the BQP to hit the shelves and decided to mail order for it. Several weeks later my check was returned with a letter stating it was no longer stocked. Sad trombone.

Man! That is really sad. It's a shame this game didn't become more popular.

Well, iHero Quest was extremely popular when it was first released. The problem is, kids always are ready to move on to the next hot thing advertised on TV. It didn't help that only KK and RotWL were the only expansions to ever be seen in stores. How could for the BQP and EQP demand be deemed too low if they were never widely available? For myself, who lived in the south suburbs of Chicago and scouted several stores, it will remain a cynical mystery.

I received the same sad letter as a kid. My dad liked the game so much he ordered the BQP and EQP only to end up with none. We already played through RotWL and KK so the game went on the shelf.
