That's the last thing I heard. That should be enough time for the minis to arrive before Christmas.

If you live with your peer in the same country, you can send it up to one week before.
If you live on the same continent, prepare 3 weeks time for the gift.
If you send it to another continent, worst case one with slow customs like the US, add 2 weeks more and send it 5 weeks before Christmas the latest.

Rule of thumb: End of November should be fine for most.

Finished mine today. I'm really happy with how it came out. Some green-stuff, no metallic paints, new base style... some of my best work so far.

I rarely paint figures. When I do I very rarely finish them 100%, including base etc. I've painted and 100% completed my Christmas exchange miniature and spent about 3 times longer on it than any figures I've done before. Now I don't want to part with it! I keep looking at it, with pride in my heart, telling myself it's for the good of this forum that I must let it go. The pride is turning to bitterness as I reluctantly drop it into the envelope in preperation for posting. As I write out the address on the envelope the rage turns to chaos! Somebody will pay for this!!!!!

I call my 5 year old and 3 year old into the kitchen and I urgently set up a game of Heroquest. I pump up the stats on all of the monsters and make my two boys play as wizards. I dock my 3 year old two body points before they even step of the stairs for trying to eat the dice. The game is over in 5 minutes. I laugh my evilist laugh, my boys go back to playing Thomas the tank engine and my rage is extinguished for now.
My wife comes into the kitchen and asks why I was laughing so loud and why were the boys screaming. I blame it on Spongebob square pants. There are some things in this world even the evil wizard Morcar doesn't mess with.
