You would have to show some regular participation to the forum, anyway.
Next year around, when we know you a little bit better, you could participate without problem i guess.

I am still waiting for the miniatures i ordered for this year's exchange. *look at somebody*

I didn't know that was part of the criteria. I mean, sure, I get that I missed the deadline after reading the entire thread, but I think all the rules should probably be on the first page somewhere. Something like that would belong there.

Also, I've only started posting recently after lurking on this forum for a long while.

Thank you. There are many wonderful things I've found on the forums here, such as the galleries of wonderful paint jobs, the custom made pieces, thequest resources ranging from those produced by MB/GW to the fan-made layouts....

It's been so inspirational to see that other people enjoy that game as much as I've wanted to, so I dug my old game out and have been working on replacing the original hero and monster pieces with better looking ones (admittedly, many are from GW, but there have been a few from others I've picked up along the way).

It's not a firm rule so much as it is a guideline.
There's many people here coming to post a wild and crazy 15 posts in 4 days, and then you don't see them in months.
That's paople that can't be reached via PM or simply don't answer. As it happens, there's at least one such example in the upcoming exchange who I knew would be that person and they proved to be it.

Regular activity has been a steady indicator for someone to be trustworthy to keep the deadlines, answer questions and stuff.
I think we didn't post this rule because there was no need, people sorting themselves out by the criterium pretty early on and confirming it by sending or not sending their addresses to Anderas.
So, sorry you couldn't find the rule, but this year there wasn't a real necessity for it.

Next year, if we do this and you've been reasonably active (the rule is not a very clearly established one), you're very welcome to take part. |_P
