Someone conducts a draw, gathering people's names and home addresses.
You get a random person from the ones participating.
You paint a HQ-compatible miniature to send as a gift to your person.
Someone else paints a mini and sends it to you.

Well, I have to sit down with a cup of herbal tea to ponder about the conundrum of thinning paint how under what humidity and nearby army base soundscape
and read a few books with yellowing pages to be inspired to a weighty, but not heavy, theme and meaningful paint scheme.
Then, I need to plan my basecoat and the avoiding of brushstrokes therein.
Then it's mid-December and I get into a panic and slap some dirty ol' color on something.

See, the thing with this is you may have to ship all across the world. And then a €2,- mini needs €18,- shipping. Happened to me twice now. As much as I'd like to join, I simply don't want to spend that much on shipping anymore. Even within my own country it would cost €7,95, because one mini would never fit in an envelope that still fits through a mailbox, and so it becomes a parcel = $$$!

I have sent mine as letters at ~€4.
Here at least it has something to do with dimensions and weight, not if it can fit through the mailbox.
But maybe Dutch postoffices just likes to shaft it's customers?

Who knows. But if an envelope is bigger than a mailbox slot, it's not considered a letter anymore, but a parcel. It does make sense you know.
