Thinking Monk, named Sigung, and an Archer named Will. Do you have a skill list for Archers I can check out before I fully commit to the Archer? Think it was another thread, wasn't it?

I posted the link earlier: viewtopic.php?f=203&t=2645 The archer is a 'core hero', they're all the ones on that page, others are later in the thread and there's some I haven't posted so you can look through that topic or tell me roughly what you're after for your non-core hero and I'll post a list.

Archer
You are a sharp minded and truly expert bowman, exceeding even the skill level of most Elvens.

Race: Human. Class: Archer. Equipment: Bow, Quiver of Arrows (36), Sword, Leather Armour.

M8 A2^ D2 BP5 MP5

You are able to fire any type of bow twice in succession and move at full rate during that turn if you are wearing no armour or Light Armour, half rate if you are wearing Mid-Weight Armour and if you don't move during the same turn if you are wearing Heavy Armour.

Gold Bearer wrote:A dead Hero's items remain on the square they died in indefinitely and can be be picked up and used by monsters as well as heroes.
I really like the idea of monsters stealing and drinking a dead heroes potions and using their equipment but it might bit a bit too harsh after you've already just lost a hero so I'm going to do it so that monsters can't take items on the same turn that the hero dies. That will give you a full round to pick the stuff up. A monster could stand on the square so you have to kill it before picking it up.

Sotiris, you got any idea why I can't edit the opening post any more when there's no dice code on it? You ever come across anything like that in your games?

But not starter gear?

I like the sound of the Archer. Will look at the rest though, just in case.

I put that rule for starting equipment in because it would unbalance the heroes if they could swap about their starting equipment before they've even played one quest and it would mean they wouldn't be used as they were meant to be, like the barbarian giving the elf his broadsword before the first standard quest. Also it would mean that you'd be better off if a lot of heroes died because you'd have their equipment plus the new heroes'. You can give starting equipment to someone else when you get something better, like if you use the archer and ever get a long bow you can give his bow to someone else.

You taking the archer then? You need one more. Tell me what you're roughly after and I'll post a list.

Three each, one of your own, one core hero (the ones I listed, rules on the first page of the thread I linked) and one of my other heroes, just like in the first quest. Some of the non-core heroes are in the rest of the thread that I linked (any that aren't on page 1) if you want to take a look but some aren't because I haven't done the cards for them yet so if you tell me what sort of hero you want I can give you your options.

The party will be split up into three pairs for the three quests and they'll be two NPCs in each quest so four heroes in total, one of the party's heroes for each player and one NPC each. After you've chosen your heroes I'll post the introduction and you can decide how to split up your heroes once you've seen the intros and NPCs for the quests.

Micky
Own = Monk: Sigung
Core = Archer: Will
Other = ?

Sotiris
Own = ?
Core = ?
Other = ?

Edit:
I was able to edit the opening post so the rules have been updated and neatened up a bit. I'll add the heroes when they're all decided.

Do you have something like the Bounty Hunter?

Attack 3 Combat Dice (Broadsword)
Defence 2 Combat Dice (Armour, Helmet or Shield to increase from 1CD to 2CD)
Mind Points 3 (My level required to use scrolls, but can up it to 4 perhaps)
Body Points 6 (Good physical, but as he is trained across a few discplines, he is not a master at any of them)
Movement 2d6 (Unless you allow tracking, but not overly concerned with this ability)
You may use any weapon.
You can wear any armor, but prefer Chainmail or lower to allow better movement.
TRACKING - You have the ability to track others. You are always the last character to move during a turn. Additionally, instead of rolling movement dice, you may move up tothe same number of spaces as the character who rolled the highest movement total this turn. The decision to track instead of rolling must be made by you before you roll.
* KNOW YOUR FOE - As your are an expert in your quarry, you may reroll your attack once per round if you rolled no Skulls in the attack.
* TRAP SENSE - As you are a master trapper, you can search for traps in a room even if there is a monster in the room.
* DISARMING TRAPS - You can disarm any trap as if you have a toolkit. If you have a toolkit, you can disarm traps automatically.
BOUNTY - You are paid a bounty for each monster or character you kill. Make a deck of monster cards from the monsters available in the quest. Randomly choose one card. For each of the ‘Bounty’ monsters killed in the quest, you will receive 5gp, 10 gp if is named. You must survive the quest to collect your bounty.
* MAGIC LORE - You have spent some time with Arcane teachers, so you can read and use Scrolls. Handy items to carry for any hardened Bounty Hunter.

Would like the ones marked with an * if possible. Is a mix between a Ranger and Rogue kind of. Multiskilled for hunting down bounties, but not an expert in anything but capturing people/monsters.
