Puck here Saturday, he was DM to start, I was on an Ogre hunt, found all four eventually killed them off Hubuli, the Halfling Hash Slinger, opens the first door, to be greeted by a nightmare.

Ogre number four meets his end, with an arrow in the back, from Bar-Dun, the Dragon Slayer

We played the next quest in the Sir Ragnar series, the Orcs had stolen his bones from the Tomb. Puck chased them into the Underworld, but retreated to the surface when he came under attack from the Aftergaurd. So, Sir Ragnar will rise in Undead form, for the next round.
I went to Maison Puck on Sunday, playing a Quest his Dad Oberon devised. Sadly, Hulubi was overcome, and is no more. so, I have to create a new hero for next time.

Hubuli may have the measure of an Ogre but is no match for Grindor Ironside the Mutant Orc.

Puck and I have also released the Goblin Boxers onto the the living (or dead as far as Hubuli is concerned) world. Will post pictures of them when reaching "champion" status on the forum.

Looking forward to the "revenge" quest that dad comes up with at next months return.

Puck and I both have two sets of Heros each at home for playing quest book and self written quests. As well as another set at Ken's for the battles at his "pad"
Through the ages and generations the Power of the Quest will continue!!

Been working on a replacement for Sir Ragnar, to carry on our Sir Ragnar quests. I will use the Paladin card from this site, here is a suitable backing to remind Puck of the error of his ways. Any comments :?:

I'm in command. I could order thiss...but I'm not (going to).
Because Ken is right - in pointing out the ENORMOUS danger potential in ANY contact with monsters as fantastically powerful as this. But I must point out that the possibilities, the potential for rewards, and advancement is equally great!

RISK ...is our BUSINESS.

That's what this TEAM is all about!
That's why we QUEST!

Puck was here for the W/E, we played a couple of quests saturday, then discussed strategy after Spag Bol. Puck was talking about a series of quests based on King Arthur & The Round Table, using some new Nights. I said, you can't do that, use new knights round an Oblong Table, and he went for it, laying in bed, working on some quests. So, here we go, introducing, Sir Diggery, Sir Dylan, Sir Declan, Sir Hixer & Merlin, the Wizard.

The Knights are discussing the Birds & the Bees, when a loud noise disturbs them, so they go to take a look.
Merlin searches & finds some gold.

Joined Ken and Puck for Sunday as usuall.

many moons ago when Puck was an apprentice quester he befriended a tame goblin called "S", who has joined him on many an adventure since.

Outraged by the defection of one of his Chaos Legion, Morcar charged Bohmar (one of his Orc High Lords) to hunt down this renegade and immediately issued a Mafia contract.

On hearing of this "S"'s comarades imediately went hunting for this Orc. Having found and then fought their way through the labirinth that led to Bohmar's Castle (this quest was played many months ago), they decided that they were well rested and today entred the castle.

A fierce battle erupted as the fought their way past all of the Lords of the castle (standard Goblins and Orcs with 1 extra die for attack and defending), located the 3 karate Orc's who were carrying an Orc's Bane each (the only weapon that could harm Bohmar), Puck decided to obliterate one with the The Good Knight spell ("S"'s version of the genie spell). Luckily "S" had found one for himself in a treasure chest on the way and the climax came when they finaly confronted Bohmar, who to "S"'s shame turned out to be his dad.

Years of anguish erupted within the goblin and let us just say that the contract has been lifted.
Morcar is now short of one Orc High Lord.
Through the ages and generations the Power of the Quest will continue!!

Episode two, Knights of the Oblong Table.
Oberon arrived mid-morning, and took over Sir Diggery & Sir Dylan, and together we Sallied Forth. Sir Dylan of the Dread Locks, searching astutely, turns up a W-M, a flail-toteing Mummy
sir dylans w-m.jpg

We stumble into the Armoury, & Merlin puts one Orc Guardian to sleep, whilst Sir Dylan shafts the other with an arrow from his bow.
merlin plays a spell.jpg

We clear out the Dead, and Sir Dylan finds a spear in the rack, to add to his equippage.

Another door leads to a room filled with goblins, and Merlin, besieged from all sides, hexes the Goblin Conjurer with the Genie spell whilst Sir Hixer the Fixer, the embullient Dwarf diverts its attention.

We clear the room, & stagger on, weighted down with useless grog (potions), "where is all the Gold in this pile of treasure cards ??" Finally, another door is beaten down, & we disturb the Skeletons at breakfast. Sir Dylan leads from the front, the Running Fool!, and the Skels cower behind the table, Sir Hixer is roaring & frothing from the corridor, he can smell the Skels Table D'Hote, but gets no chance as by the time he manages to force an entrance, its all over, and the Victorious Knights of the Oblong Table have Perservered !!
