If you are interested in recasts, check out the thread "Casting Plastics Taking Names" viewtopic.php?f=182&t=967

Bill Dask is making some great looking recasts. I'm in the process of ordering some from him for the Barbarian Quest Pack and the Elf Quest Pack.
He has all the models for the Barbarian Quest Pack including the mercenaries. For the Elf Quest Pack, I don't believe he has the Ogres recast, but the
rest are. PM him for a price list and to give him an idea of what you are looking for.

Thank you, I'll check out those recasts. The Reaper Miniatures seems to have quite a few cool minis that would work for many of the models if I cannot source a recast. Wargods looks excellent too. Need a UK supplier ideally, but I like the Wendigo models for a Frozen Horror style quests. Shame GW seem to have such a small range these days (If their website it anything to go by) and that they are so pricey! I recall in my youth being able to find pretty much anything you wanted in a Citadel mini!

I got a set of recasts from Bill that included the Elf quest pack, one of the mages from Wizards of Morcar, and the female barbarian from the Barbarian quest pack. Very happy with them.

Thanks for the help all. I've messaged Bill as the originals would be very cool. Still liking Reaper for a range of other minis to expand my collection too. £60 to get free delivery to UK...might save till next month, but there are some awesome models.

EDIT: Is PMing on here the only way to get in touch with him?

It's the easiest. I got some ogres from him on eBay once, but I don't think he is a constant presence there. I could be wrong.
this is where I've been posting my painting progress so far:

I know someone here has answered this before, but what game is this mini from:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/28-32mm-MONSTER ... 6016.l4276

I'm torn on it. It looks OK, but also looks like cheap, crap plastic. It certainly isn't original to the "Warhammer universe" (especially if it is made by Parker bros, as the description says).

The Miniature is from Lionheart.

Nice use of an old partial game set... Convert to another somewhat popular game and sell it.
I like his card and the mini together. Takes allot of the work out of things for the EWP with limited time on their hands.

Ah! Thank you! Yes, but I'd rather buy the whole game for $30 than a single mini for $8. Not a fan of the card, myself. If the mini is good to use, I'll make my own card in 10 seconds.

Those minis are shitty. If you don't plan on painting them they might be fine, otherwise do not buy them.
The whole game Lionheart - with around a hundred minis or more, can't recall - is worth 10 to 15 €.
That should tell you something about the miniatures.
