I actually don't own a copy of heroquest, but my uncle does, so when we meet up we usually do a couple of quests. So I don't have any figures.

I bought these Miniatures off ebay, they cast me 63 pence each, including the post. All metal, slotta fixings. In picture one, those on the Left came with bases, pre-painted. The outmost Left is a sort of cross-breed, Barbarian body, with Skeleton face. I am calling him Melar, to use in Melars Maze, from the HQ Quest Book.
The next two, from the Left are barbarians, I am calling them Troglodytes, from an ancient tribe of Cave Dwellers. Crouching in the centre, is a Troll? Looks like one to me.
Next come two Chaos Lord Skeletons, both on hand made bases, and painted by me.
On the Right is a sort of Wolf Man, extremely well dressed, I shall call him, The Werewolf. New base, my paintjob

The second picture shows some more ruffians, based and painted by me. More Troglodytes.
Obviously, like Coldplay, faces for Radio, not TV. But, what the Heck, I am quite pleased with them. Watch out, Puck!

Since I have 3 basic games + all expansions (and several copies of some) I also add Warhammer quest & Advanced HeroQuest figurines (+ expansions), the ones of D&D (hasbro 2003) + expansions and also the D&D (castle ravenloft + Ashardalon).
I also made a house rule to play with all Descent + all expansions I have too.
I sold Dragon Strike (this game is awful) so I have no more the figurines of this game. (very bad quality too)
No regret since I still can add the dragon fire minis too and drak world ones I got in double. (I sold the game it's awful too)
I have bought villagers too from reapers, got the ones of HYBRID and mighty warriors + some d&d others (basic game of 2004 + some I've bought)
So a huge bestiary possible and many many heroes to manage.

Yes, he is. I remember seeing him in the citadel compendium in the late eighties.

I have the original HQ set, plus some extra spare HQ mini's the seller had, and all miniatures from my D&D boardgame. Need to paint them all.
Might get a box of Skaven from warhammer, and I'm looking for some replacement Ogres, wizards (for wizards of morcar set) and mercenaries / men-at-arms.

Head for Ebay, if you can possess your soul in patience, you can get them cheap.

Well, the trouble is, I live in the Netherlands, and people here don't use eBay that much. Shipping from UK is pretty expensive when buying small things. We have a popular action site though, but there's not much HQ stuff on there, and if there is, there's some people who always bid high prices (always the same people). It's a very small HQ circuit here I guess. And the sellers usually know what it's worth, so getting anything cheap is almost impossible here. Plus Holland only has the original HQ game, RotWL, KK and WoM sets. The 3 sets are more expensive than the basic HQ set, as that one is relatively common, but the sets aren't.

I might get some warhammer replacements via auction here though...
