The direction facing problem wasn't with the tarantula, I think it was the missile launcher. I could fire if I came at the square from a certain direction I think but I'm not entirely sure. It was in a dreadnought factory. It might have been because of another problem I've noticed. When you're standing next to the last square of a wall you can't target diagonally past the wall but I think aliens can and weapons like the plasma/fusion/conversion guns can.
I had that same crash again, twice. The second time was a different factory and with the blood angels when the second one went in. I think it might be the tarantula that's doing it, maybe because it was half in and half out.
A dreadnought killed a tarantula gunner with a score of three when he should have had an armour value of four.
With the tarantula I noticed that the red shaded square firing arc starts from the gun and not the gunner which is the least versatile arc interpretation but even though a dreadnought was in a shaded square (just one corner of it though) the circle was dark meaning I couldn't target it, so the shaded squares graphic and the circles graphic doesn't quite match up. I should have tried shooting it as a test but there was another dready and I couldn't waste a shot.
Sometimes distant dreadnoughts get stuck and give up their movement after the screen centres on them. This affects all the distant dreadnoughts at the same time but not the ones in sight of a marine.
The time when the dreadnought got stuck in the factory it was ready to go. I don't know if it had its weapons but it should have been able to move. I don't think this is the same as the last issue because it wasn't some distance away.
I had an indestructible dreadnought for two turns. I scored over four two turns in a row with the UM tarantula but nothing happened. It then killed the gunner and when a put a new marine on the tarantula I was able to kill it.
I couldn't target a genestealer with a bolter in a corridor when I was diagonally adjacent to it. I had to attack it in h-t-h.
