The fusion gun didn't fire through an open bulkhead door.

The tarantula can be walked over or stopped on if there's no gunner.

Sometimes the aliens don't move their full rate. I think this is when they have one movement left and think a diagonal move takes two.

I couldn't target an enemy when it was standing next to an open door and I was diganoally adjacent to it and the open door, but I could still attack it in hand-to-hand.

I think the secondary mission might appear at the top with the primary mission so ignore that one.

The armour values of the tarantula seemed to work better this time so it must be a problem with the missile launcher.

When I used the fire order I couldn't target most of the enemies as before but on the secong shot I could.

This really is very hard.

That's better. :) I increased them to four order cards and five equipment cards. All the commanders survived and one other ultramarine. I even killed all the reinforcements. Now that was fun. :D

I had the same missile launcher bug again. I had two taranchulas side by side in a corridor taking care of the reinforcements and a chaos marine used a missle launcher and scored five. The marine he was aiming at survived by the one standing next to him was killed even though he should also have had an armour value of four.

I didn't get how the assault cannon worked. You mentioned it before but I forgot. I think it works okay. It's still a liitle odd that you can't automatically target a lot of the enemies.

The tarantula does take up two squares, I was fooled by one without a gunner. They also don't block LOS without gunners.

There was a genestealer alien event and two appeared. The next time there was just the one.

When I used the fire order I was able to move and fire the tarantula.

Commanders can't use the tarantula, but maybe they're not supposed to.

I'm not going to get anything done for days now and it's all your fault. :)

I just made my own mission with seven dreadnaught factories and there ended up with about thirty dreadnaughts on the board. :bites-lip: I died.

The tarantula can be one side of a closed door and the gunner the other side.

There were two dreadnaughts standing next to each other, both in sight but I couldn't get both with the tarantula and there was no reason I shouldn't have been able to.

There was one time when the red targeting circles for the tarantula were dark but I tried shooting anyway and it worked, so the targeting graphics for the circles don't quite match what you can actually target.

Thanks for the awesome feedback. Glad you're having fun with this. Here are some answers for you:

I think you may need to reread the way Conversion Beamer's work. :)

Having at least 1 original weapon wasn't in this update but will be in the next one.

On one turn I couldn't fire a tarantula, all I could do was move. - Was this due to an alien event card, perhaps Weapon jammed?

The assault cannon will only display targets on aliens that you can actually kill. For example, you have 2 Gretchin and 1 Android that are in LOS. You click the "Fire Cannon" button and roll a 1. Targets will appear on the Gretchin but not on the Android as it's armour is too high.

The Tarantula does increase the Armour of the marine however you have spotted a bug with the missile launcher that destroys both the marine and Tarantula. This will be fixed in the next update.

For issues such as BA tarantula marine hanging over the edge of the docking claw, could you please get a screenshot of this when it happens. This will help me trace why this is happening when it shouldn't.

The fusion gun didn't fire through an open bulkhead door - Do you mean a destroyed bulkhead? Did the fusion beam stop at the open door as if it was closed? Did you target an alien past the door or in front of the door? Was the bulkhead a vertical or horizontal door?

The tarantula can be walked over or stopped on if there's no gunner. - will be fixed in next update.

Sometimes the aliens don't move their full rate - This is due to the AI planning a few moves ahead and thinking that the square the alien is on is the best spot for it to be.

I couldn't target an enemy when it was standing next to an open door and I was diganoally adjacent to it and

the open door, but I could still attack it in hand-to-hand. - This is another one of those times that a screenshot of the issue would help me out.

When I used the fire order I couldn't target most of the enemies as before but on the secong shot I could. - Which weapon were you trying to use?

There was a genestealer alien event and two appeared. The next time there was just the one. - That is supposed to happen. That particular mission from the MD book states that this is to occur.

When I used the fire order I was able to move and fire the tarantula. - That is correct. The rulebook states that certain order cards (Fire, Move it & By sections) allow the tarantula to move and/or fire in the same turn. I interpret this to mean that the tarantula fires twice or moves twice with By sections. Fires twice, moves once with Fire! and moves twice and fires once with Move it!

Commander's cannot use the tarantula, only normal marines.

The tarantula can be one side of a closed door and the gunner the other side. - fixed in next update.

There were two dreadnaughts standing next to each other, both in sight but I couldn't get both with the

tarantula and there was no reason I shouldn't have been able to. - I'd need a screenshot to troubleshoot this one.

There was one time when the red targeting circles for the tarantula were dark but I tried shooting anyway and

it worked, so the targeting graphics for the circles don't quite match what you can actually target. - I'll have to look into this one closer as I couldn't replicate it. Which direction was the tarantula facing? On which board? Which firing arc squares did it shoot at?

Yes, I remember now that the conversion beamer targeting any wall square was my house rule because I thought it was the weakest weapon. It's a good rule though.

Since I've been using the editor I can see that multiple genestealers isn't a bug.

It's not just that the misslie launcher destroy tarantulas though. When the missile launcher targets a square next to the gunner there's no armour value boost for the gunner. This lead to the target of the missle launcher surviving and the gunner next to him being killed despite also being covered by his own tarantula.

The tarantula not being able to fire only happened once so it might have been a weapons jam.

The only being able to target all the enemies for the second shot was the assaut cannon again. The assault cannon does work but it's a bit strange that you can't target a lot of the enemies unless you press the fire button.

The tarantulas hanging over the docking claws solid squares happened in the second mission and happened for the ultramarines as well but I think this is because I changed the marine who uses the tarantula not realising that it doesn't matter which docking claw square they start on.

For the fusion gun the bulkhead was already destroyed and it was a horizontal door. I targeted an enemy on my side of the door and an enemy on the other side didn't get hit.

For the los door problem it seems that you can't see diangonally through an open door but you can still use weapons like the plasmagun.

I remember the tarantula order card rule now but I think move it, fire and by sections should only allow it to move once and fire once. Maybe by sections should work as normal. That rule was never made clear.

I'm not sure about the tarantula and las cannon targeting, that might just be me being over generous with the area they can shoot. I'll keep a closer eye on that one.

Some more:

I only got two honour bages instead of three for a heroic performance when the blood angle commander got promoted to a 'new sargent'.

The imperial fist plasmagun couldn't target bulkhead at one point. I had to move past it but the next one I could target. The first one I tried to target diagonally and then from an adjacent square so maybe that's it.

Bulkheads can't be targeted diagonally with the blood angles close assault blades.

The tarantula does take up one square and can't move next to a closed door and face it.

When I played the move it order I couldn't move, then shoot, then move.

Whenever I attacked a dreadnaught that was under construction it moved a square to the side even if there was a wall there. It only looked like it moved though, it was still in the same place for targeting.

One time a dreadnought was stuck at the half built stage but I don't know how you stop a dreadnaught factory so this might not be a bug.

After firing the assault cannon manually I couldn't move with it.

The bulkheads definitely stop the fusion gun from firing it a line like it should when it's used to destroy a bulkhead but even if the bulkhead is already destroyed I think.

I think the editor could do with a bit of more user friendly system for board placement. It would be a lot better if you could rotate a board before you place it. I had to work out through trail and error where to place corridors before placing them and had to do it in a certain order because they can't overlap before or after they're rotated.

Tarantula gunners can stand on the same square as each other.

You need to be facing the right direction to shoot but you can't turn on the spot.

The ultramarine las cannon couldn't move twice when I used move it but the others could.

I think the targeting problem with the tarantula is because los is taken from the gunners position and a marine was blocking it. In the board game the arc stared at the gun but there was a contradiction about whether it was the front of the tarantula or one square back.

The blood angles commander sounds like he's wounded when his force field protects him.

The aliens definitely move one square less than they should at times, even if there's no other aliens around. I thought it was either when there last square should be a diagonal movement or they're moving through a door but an android ended it's turn by moving diagonally through an open door so it's not that.

The reason the blood angels only got two honour badges for a heroic performance was because they already had two. I didn't realise you'd put on a limit because I was able to select all the equipment cards when I should have only been able to select six so I thought I already had four honour badges.

It was when I moved next to a dreadnaught with the UM commander. Damn I was enjoying that.

The aliens never move diagonally right after opening a door.

How do you "bless your weapons"? :)

The error occurred when I moved next to a dreadnaught with the UM commander. - Was the UM commander on the dread factory when this error happened?

Tarantula gunners can stand on the same square as each other. - Fixed in next update.

You need to be facing the right direction to shoot but you can't turn on the spot. - I assume you mean the Tarantula. The tarantula can turn on the spot, that's what the pink arrows are for.

LOS from the tarantula is from the gunners position. I'll check to make sure the game is reproducing this correctly.

Plasma and Fusion guns can't target bulkheads diagonally.

Bulkheads can't be targeted diagonally with the blood angles close assault blades. - This is because only Commanders are allowed to attack bulkheads in melee.

The dreadnaught factory stops producing dreads when you have 2 marines of the same squad in the dread factory. When this happens, any dreads that have legs only get destroyed. Any dreads that haven't had their heavy weapons attached, simply move around with Bolters.

You can rotate tiles before placing them, simply press the middle mouse button to rotate them.
