Thanks. Something new every day. But I don't think it makes a difference in my point.

The underlying reason changes, teh result is the same. Some may argue that this changes the argument itself.

I went ahead and ordered a physical copy of this magazine. It arrived today and it looks really good....a nice addition to my HeroQuest collection.

I just want to know "WHY" he wasn't allowed to talk about a game that his company has given up on. It makes no sense. But that may just be me. :D

I imagine Mr. Baker had signed a nondisclosure agreement with Milton Bradley (Hasbro), as he was an employee. Companies commonly use these to protect the IP they own. Richard Borg also wouldn't talk to Toco about the unreleased Wizard Quest Pack he authored for Milton Bradley because of a nondisclosure agreement.

Stephen Baker did grant an interview about his games to a Spanish publication nine years back. You can read the Google Translate version in this thread. Too bad Hasbro was asked about granting an interview instead of Stephen. Then again, maybe Stephen set Hasbro's permission as a condition, as he is again an employee there.
