No luck. I am super bummed about it too.
Sure it's pretty scary when the witch lord returns but what you should really be afraid of is "Resurrection of the Witch Lord". Resurrected baddies always come back more threatening than ever, usually kind of demonic with wings and horns and hell fire to announce their arrival. Think Gannondorf or Mother Brain from Super Metroid.

Back again after a long absence. My personal laptop broke, and I am limited in what I am allowed to do with my work computer. However, I may have just got a solution. Now I have Heroscribe and Quest creator going (in the past I could never get Heroscribe working on my computer). In the meantime, someone on here has probably long since started and finished without me, haha. I redid the first quest, while working on another quest I noticed one icon is missing from Heroscribe. The horse drawn cart is either missing or I am looking in the wrong places. Anyone know? After I get a few more auests I will start posting. In the meantime, if anyone knows about the cart, let me know.

I don't know of the horse cart, however I am in the process of turning Dewayne Agin's quest pack "Lord Narran's Battles" into a quest book. For whatever reason I looked at my PDF of the Dragon Strike book and many of the quests are similar, even using the same names. Have you looked at his quest?

That is, indeed, from Dragon Strike. I can't remember why that wasn't quite what I was interested in. Does it use the DS boards?

After boning up a bit, I see that Agin used the HQ maps. I am using almost entirely DS original items, except for a few monsters (I hate DS orcs). Oh, of course, If I get the chance I will convert all the paper stuff(cards etc) to HQ style.

Anyhow, the horse cart is vital to a couple of the missions. If anyone has an icon, let me know. Thanks.

It does use two of the DS maps. I'd still like to see your conversion. I have Dragon Strike and played it but couldn't remember anything about it. I always liked HQ better.

Yeah, HQ is wayyy better.

By the way. Kudos to all those who worked on HeroScribe. In the last few hours, I have managed to convert all the DS maps to HQ maps, including the Dragon Magazine bonus quest. I still need to figure out a few icons, specifically a: camp fire icon, horse drawn cart icon, a puddle marker, a random trap icon, a tunnel icon. The cart, camp fire, and tunnel icons are the most important ones. There are a few quests that use them extensively.

There are a few other issues. For example, I need to choose whether to mark start points with "X" icons or arrow icons. When not using the traditional stairway or the steel and wooden doors from the later sets, what are some of the other ways HQ quests mark a starting point?

Next I need to move my butt down into my basement to hook up to a bigger monitor to use with the quest creator. The booklet should be ready in short order. It will be a little bit of a challenge to fit all the notes into the note section, but I will figure out how to work it. Stay tuned!

Does anyone know how to alter Heroscribe maps? The city map for DS in the USA region has some missing detail. I tried my hand at it, but it had no effect. Let me know.

Unfortunately, the quest book is going to be the easy part. Cards on the other hand, I have some of it very done, some of it I am stumped. We will see.
