Swiftfoot searches for something shiny but all he finds is dust and cobwebs. The books on the shelf are all ancient, the ink is so faded that he cannot read what was once written in them. However he does find a magic scroll of spells hidden inside a secret compartment in the base of the cupboard. The parchment is frail and faded and the edges begin to crumble as the elf removes the scroll from the secret compartment.

You may read the scroll at any time but it will take you a whole turn to read through it.
