It's supposed to be Imperial Fists. They are usually bright yellow. I just went for a more "worn" look and decided a more faded yellow would fit better.
Can't wait till after newyear when I'll get the transfer sheets. Adding the logo and squad symbol on the shoulders is really going to look cool!
(I tried painting the logo freehand on a test model and... meeeeh... Not gonna do that to 15 marines!)

@ Sjeng: I do too myself. It's gonna be a blast playing with the finished set in 10 years.

Over the last few weeks since updating my gallery thread I
- painted up Harpies (no, not tit birds, but just flying giant bat things from Descent)
- painted up Chaos Hounds/Giant Wolves/Wargs from Games Workshop
- painted up Nightgoblin Pokers and Shooters (Games Workshop)
- painted up Beastman Gor Berserkers, Ungor Marauders, and Ungor Axefodder including Champion (Games Workshop)
- assembled and primed Farrow Slaughterhousers from Hordes
- unpacked many heroes from DarkSword, Heresy, Hasslefree, and others
- put together 4 batches of differently themed Chaos Warriors without assembling yet (GW)
- assembled Blood Elf Assassins (from Wood Elf warriors/GW)
- primed Kobolds from Reaper (Bones)

During the last few days, I
- painted up a Gargoyle (HeroQuest) as a brass statue
- finished my Clanrats (Games Workshop)
- started painting an Orc shaman (Games Workshop)
- assembled metal Orc warriors, a second shaman, and elite orcs (all from Confrontation)
- assembled a resin Cave Ogre from Fenryll (I believe)
- assembled Mummies from a company I won't advertise (no, I'm not talking about Games Workshop)
- assembled Zombies from Heresy
- assembled Skeletons from Mantic
- assembled individual characters: Beastman Lord from BaneLegions, Beastman Bray Shaman from Games Workshop, Skulmar from Warmachine and others
- planned how to attempt Fimir heads to put them on Savage Orcs
uhmm. Think that's it.
