I was one once. No. Wait. That just sounds wrong.

I realised i was going a bit weird when i was looking for a bit to add to the top of a wizards staff, i considered putting a dragons claw from an unwanted half dragon because i believed for slightly longer than a moment that that might give the figure an actual magical advantage (like it might help with the dice rolls). Then i had to put the toys away for a bit.

like others i see packaging and thing how it might make good 40k/epic scenery. Especially mushroom tubs look like industrial buildings. Thing is, i don't even have any epic or 40k any more.

Pet stores sometimes have the best scenery, especially for sci-fi type games. I have spent a fair share on fish tank deco and I too do not have an aquarium.

Despite owning two fish tanks, I do not own any fish tank decorations for the sake of gaming. They are really detailed and comes pre-painted, but they are way too pricy! If they were cheap, I would have a number of them, as they look fantastic as wargaming and diorama props! The only fish tank decorations I have are too small and weird-looking (unless I want to game in some alien world where lava-lamp-colored rock-faces are the norm), but they are cheap and the fishes like them (save for the pleco, but he is too big for them, and he just like to lean on the walls to remind everyone how much he sucks ;)).

A check comes from an auto accidents and you are already portioning some of it go to getting more mini supplies. I can now spend some on a painting set that shows up on ebay. No really sweetish this is going to save me money in the long run. Lets see if that works... here's hoping I get one for a discount price.
