Well, for start let me say that I like the looks of your stuff very much. Also, you seem to have a good eye for what players truly need - doors, bases, even the potions - this is basic stuff, coming in much more handy than the 9999th impressive looking exotic monster. And it is very well done, too.
From the pictures I can tell you model these beauties in the computer and then print them out via rapid prototyping. As you may have noticed, I'm doing a very similar thing. I have to say, the printed prototype bottles on the photo look very good, the level of detail and the smoothnes of the surface is better than most of what I got so far. Of course this may be due to the relative simple form of this special model as compared to skeleton figures, which are my main field of work so far. But still, I think there's something I can learn from you. So first, let me ask, do you own a 3D printer yourself (and, if yes, which model), or do you let print your models by a company (and, if yes, which one)?
Have a look ;)

I know I shouldn't have but it innately lends itself to this. I understand what you mean. Each of us has something we are very anal particular about. As I tell people "It's not right or wrong how I think, it's simply how I think be it good or bad". We have come to accept your neurosis as part of being a king and overlook it because of the benefit you are to the community.

Thanks Bene :D Im now using a home brew SLA printer similar to the 3DLP printer by robot factory. Ive been interested in 3D printing for a long time (im doing a BSc degree research project on 3D additive manufacture this year too) and love to tinker with resin an mechanics, while applying this to miniatures. Some of the more complex parts i send to a contact at product design company to sneak onto their silly expensive Objet Eden. I offer a prototyping service on the site if you are interested ;)

Goblin king has good eyes, the roundness was missing from one of the bases, applied that now. Dungeon decor bases are staying the same, if you want a classic base - the classic plain base has been updated with a more rounded bevel and i got my good callipers out to measure to 10 microns :P
If i go any further ill be modelling in the mould lines

I will be getting some bases I think :)

I have a question on the doors though, are they in the same mould (i.e. you have to cast both at the same time) otherwise if I ordered say 20, could I have 5 closed an 15 open?

Thanks a lot!
Steven

I was thinking the same :D

And, say, 10 of each 5 bases, would make 10 quid, right? Plus the doors and shipping....

With the doors, they are in the same mould, so its a 1:1 ratio for them im afraid. May change down the line in the future.

Bases will be available either plain packs, or a mixed lot of textured ones.

Would people prefer cheap bases in a one part mould, with some imperfect undersides (20p a base) or 2 part mould bases with neater undersides? (50p a base)

As long as they don't tip over, I would say cheap.
