More curled staffs, bend swords and twisted limbs, all cast in a plastic which isn't fit to make the plastic toys you get in your breakfast cereal? :? ... count me out of this one thanks Reaper.

I much prefer metal or resin!

Well, the material is what makes them so much cheaper than resin or metal minis. Plus, simply dunk them in boiling hot water, and they will reshape automatically. You can even bend thing in the way you want them to. Then dunk them in ice cold water, and they set. Done. They can''t break! Metal and resin can break, and can also get bent, and those are much harder to reshape.
When you're playing with people who aren't too carefull with your precious minis, or with children, these Bones are perfect!

Furthermore: they are just as detailed, and they don't require any primer before you basecoat them. I'm definitely in again.

I've never understood this thing. I've got a DnD eye beholder with a twisted base. I've put it on boiling water and i never saw it return to normal shape. Any idea ?

Which material is it made from? D&D minis are a different kind of plastic. But even harder plastic should be slightly bendable when heated in water. Just heat it up for a few minutes in hot water, pick it out, carefully bend it the way you want it to be, and then cool it off in cold water while holding it in the right position.

DDMs and Bones are made from basically the same PVC, actually.

Descent minis, too, judging from the feel of them.

It's like the material used for the minis in DnD fantasy boardgame by Parker/Hasbro. Not hard, but lightly soft, bendable.

I got the exact same default as this picture I found on the web. The base is bend.
