I'm having the same feelings... I like them, especially the little ones, but the big ones need a lot of cleaning up... I might sell some of them too.

I'm fairly disappointed in them. There's lots of mold lines, excess material in places, blotched details and bubbles. I don't think I will be keeping a single one. I'll put them up for auction and try to recoup as much of my $$ as possible. I will definitely not be going in on their Asian Chibis after receiving these ones. But such is the case with Kickstarters. As it's always new product, you never know what it'll actually be like before hand. At least my Reaper Bones worked out well. Just gotta heat them up to get them to go back to their natural shape. I'm happy with all of the Bones I received.

What did you get? I may be interested in a couple of them.

Can you throw up a couple of pictures? The KS site only has those drawings.

Just to specify, I might be interested in the Warduke, Lord Soth, sahuagin, gnoll, bullywug, bugbear, medusa, owlbear and type-V demon.

These weren't included in the KS due to C&D letters from WotC: Lord Soth, sahuagin, bullywug, owlbear. (Nor the shambling mound and a few others).

I'll post some pics later, when I have time this weekend.

A buddy of mine got a C&D about his Demons & Devils Kickstarter. He basically told them to "shove it" and threw a lawyer right back at them. In response, he also refunded the money of several backers for the project--all WotC employees.

I don't remember Warduke, Lord Soth, or type-V demon being minis available during the kickstarter. I don't think I have those. But I definitely have the others. If I have time this weekend to go through all the little zip-baggies and ensure I was sent everything ordered I will set those aside as I come across them.

If the casting of the HeroQuest type minis are decent enough, I might keep those ones. I ordered enough for a full game system of chibi HeroQuest just for fun.

Well, here are some of mine. The smaller ones are fine, except the gnoll. The big ones are pretty bad. Some are salvageable, but most require advanced sculpting, and I just can't pull that off well enough.

Troll: decent, I'm keeping him.
Image
Image

Gnoll, I'll have to see what I can do. The eye is pretty messed up.
Image

Balrog: nice model, actually one that doesn't have excessive flash. The only thing I'm clueless about is how to attach the flame whip ends.
Image
Image

Tiamat / Dragon Queen: A keeper. Needs some work on the teeth/mouthes, but I think I can manage:
Image
Image

C'thulhu: Needs some fixing on the head/eyes/tentacle mouth. Body and wings are good.
Image
Image
Image

Venger: Man, I'm so bummed about his face. There's some massive acne going on here.
Image
Image

Three headed ogre: I think I'm selling him.
Image
Image
Image

Flesh golem: definitely selling. Way too big.
Image
Image

Bugbear: nice and big, but has flaws... Argh. Might need to sell him.
Image
Image

Centaur: Still in doubt. Might sell it.
Image
Image
Image

Nightmare: Not my thing. Selling it. Too much brony.
Image
Image
Image

Djinn: Selling. Some work needed on him.
Image
Image

Minotaur: Might keep this one if I can manage to fix it. Major gap around the neck.
Image
Image
Image

Giant Cobra: selling. Worst of all. The mouth and connecting pieces need extensive work.
Image
Image
Image
Image
Image

Giant Scorpion: Selling.
Image

Marilyth: Sad, but selling her too.
Image
Image

Chimera: wanted to sell, but mother in law wants it :P So I will still need to try and put it together as good as I can manage.

I'm speechless about how much I do not like the Chibi style and now execution.
