Vengeance I can understand. Forgiveness I can understand. (great for the two of you being able to come to reconcile) Selling the HeroQuest I can understand. (albeit cringingly so) The selling of the HeroQuest when you seem to enjoy it so much... just leaves me a bit boggled. No need to satisfy my curiosity by the way. Private matters is also something I understand. ;)

Not that it is a true replacement, but I hope you have felt free to download Quest Packs and cards from my site and Ye Olde Inn and gotten the 'basics' back. I couldn't imagine my spouse selling my HQ stuff. (Although, I told her that if I died, that should be the first thing she did.) She isn't into gaming (AT ALL), but she understands my enjoyment of it and while not encouraging of it, acceptance thereof.

Sez the chix who so often freak out just as much (if not more so) over some other type of entertainment - lately, the 'twilight' crap.

Let's try to curb the generalizations, eh? She has her thing(s), I have mine. We give each other the space to be ourselves and still enjoy each other's company.

Well, obviously - otherwise none of us would stay married for long!
I just found it to be a real bang-on observation that a webcomic made me realize...
so if the webcomic noticed something I hadn't really noticed, I can't be the only one who got that
double standard from pretty much every chick I talked to about it. Maybe it's my city, I dunno...
plus, I find it pretty humorous...like the webcomic did!
"Oh you men and your obsessions! If it isn't cars then it's kid's games!
Go have fun then - while I take our daughter to see Edward's six-pack heeheehee!"

Wish I could remember which one it was - went looking in SMBC but it could have been XKCD too...
the Neo-Monster Island one is, like much of his other stuff, very offensive and crude.

drathe, believe me I did at that time and still do enjoy playing HQ :D Things were going on during that time, and I was very confused, upset and wasn't able to think clearly. I also needed money, and I knew they would sell quickly and well.

Phoenix, Yes thank you. I have replaced both the American and European versions of HQ and all of the expansion packs. The only thing we are missing are the Elf Quest box, and the Wizards of Morcar box. L.V. had them before I sold them so he really wants them now. Does anyone have any boxes? We did find quite a few quests, cards, and things from your sites also, thank you :)

ooooooo you guys are going to kill me. That Return of Bitch King I got along with the main game...well...I scanned the unpunched tiles, which I sent here...then I punched them, and of course, thought like our idiot parent generation does... and I threw out the box!

Honestly! I didn't think anyone would want it! Sent to recycling months ago! Just after drathe posted the unpunched tiles! Man I should of asked before tossing it!!!

And the real bizarre thing is that I used to keep every box from every toy I had in the past! It drove my mother nuts that I had empty boxes all in my closet!

What shall be my penance? NO spanking on my bot?

I'm missing the boxes for English Against the Ogre Horde, English Wizards of Morcar and English Adventure Design Kits in my collection. The only extra boxes I have are for the NA versions of Kellar's Keep, Return of the Witch Lord and Game System. But I have them filled with extra bits and stuff at the moment. I'd like to convert a couple to NA version boxes of Ogre Horde, Wizards and Design Kit some day.

Don't worry El_flesh. It may harm the resale value of the pack, but I don't believe you're ever going to part with it anyway, so no biggie. Some like to keep everything, some like to save space.

Yup, is one whole kit now - with some printed versions of the expansions; and will have even more printed versions on better quality when I get some more hobby budget!

And when I drop the hell dead one day, The game will be passed to someone that enjoys it, and I will go on to try and become a Lich...

Heroquest has been done in LEGOs but it is called Brickquest and is basically all home brewed and will cost you a alot of money cause LEGOs are not cheap.
