Haha, yeah, I'd never considered what would happen if the Heroes completely avoided that room. Hm. I suppose I would do a Sir Ragnar style thing and and say that simply being in Barok Tor awoke the Witch Lord and place him and all the doors and furniture and monsters on the board. But that doesn't excuse the poor dungeon design on their part; they should have placed a note saying that that secret door could not be discovered from that side or something.

Mentor just wants his book back from his ex-Boyfriend. The Emperor on his armies, as well as the Doomguard, are euphemisms.

Played Quest 12 today.
freakin' awesome! And no, Sjeng, no pictures here, sorry.

So, the heroes woke up the Witch-Lord, turned around and ran.
Anyway, barbarian still in sight, was put under control and subsequently surrounded by three undead in the middle room.
Knowing they can't hurt the WL, the other heroes said goodbye and ran. Where? Ah yes, here the beauty comes in.

They reached the outer corridor at the top of the map and went... RIGHT! TO THE RIGHT! Where the false doors are.
They were followed by the WL and the monsters activated on the go plus the Undead he conjured up.

Spear traps and false doors and constant attacks brought them low on Body points, while the Barbarian, himself down to 1 measly BP, at last freed himself from the Control spell,
ploughed through his three undead and took off through the rooms in the upper left quarter. WITH 1 BP!

When the WL stepped into the upper right corridor - he can't be hurt by any means - it was clear that I slaughtered three heroes and brought the other down to 1 BP.

Hurray! This Quest should always kill at least half the heroes.

The fact that the Barbarian was put under control and subsequently surrounded by three monsters (plus the table in the middle room) who attacked him for four rounds going saved his life! How awesome is that?
I think the Heroes will consider splitting up once in a while...
And THEN the fun begins! |_P
