Great Chaos Sorcerers. I have four or five that could use a nice paint job like that.

Gaaargh! Now you have rewards too? Where do they come from?!?

A good necromancer is able to dig them up. In the very near future, more rewards will be available to members who have contributed quests, cards, design resources, images of painted miniatures, etc. to the community.

I decided to rebase my female Elf character, so she fits in better with the rest, plus she now has her own rim colour, which is handy when we are going to use henchmen. (I paint my mercenaries in coloured clothes, to easily identify which one belongs to which hero). Here's the result.





And I've managed to create a HQ base for my female barbarian model, which is pewter with a slot, so I molded a milliput base, and pressed her slot in while it was still soft. Worked out great!



And finally my 2 crossbow orcs. These were made from Mantic Dwarven crossbowmen with a seperate orc head that's on the sprue from the shield bearing dwarves. A little milliput around the neck and voila! (don't mind the dust on the models. I often see lots of stuff on photo's I didn't notice with the naked eye)

Wow- those orcs are way cooler than I imagined. My only complaint is that they doesn't really look like the HQ orcs, but as you use lots of different models that's not an issue at all.
I'm gonna stick with modding the HQ orcs for my X-bow men. When my crossbows decides to arrive that is...

I mold those with milliput and instant-mold. I've made a mold from a clean HQ base, and then you just press in the milliput, and with a wet finger you smear it out evenly in the mold. Let it dry for 8 hours and then pop it out
Then I add more milliput for the tile effect, but you could also make 3 or 4 different tiled bases, and then make molds from those to make more tile bases in one go.
