Now when a marine is selected it autoselects the movement action if available (you can still click the icon again to cancel movement and perform other actions)
Let me know if it is an improvement or better rollback.

This flows much better now! :D I have just sent a squad of ultramarines to death and should be sent to the slave mines of schnak

If I want to attack and then run, I still need to manually select the move action. It would be nice if move was always auto selected when I complete another action.

Also, "locking down" the currently selected action feels strange. I mean that if you have selected "move", but want to switch to "fire", you have to deselect "move", then select "fire". I would expect a click on "fire" to switch from "move" to "fire".

One more thing: I can't do partial moves. After moving onto a door, I want to decide if I advance further or retreat, but moving onto a square ends my movement, even if I still have movement points left. I would say a partial move should allow another move action with the remaining movement points.

But kudos for doing this all in assembly! :o

it cannot be the first AND the last action in an automatic way.
it could be done but there are a lot of variables. And, correct me if I am wrong, but I think 80% of the time you tend to escape from hand-to-hand combat with marines and search for a better positioning to aim and shoot. So you always move first.

Also, "locking down" the currently selected action feels strange.
I know, but it's the original Amiga design. Every action works like this, it requires confirm start or cancel. I think the others are greyed out to avoid misclicks.

I can't do partial moves.
It's something I already noted. it is an issue that must be addressed but the movement routine does not reads "remaining step" but maximum only, and is not designed to stop and go and stop and go. So an overhaul will be needed.

it was somehow easier than I thought. I should have fixed the issue.
Now the movement does not end when a blip or monster is discovered, or when the marine stops.
The only downside is that now you can split the movement among actions (the commander could move two squares, shoot, move two squares, open a door, move the last two squares). It is more tactical to me (run, shot and take cover), and I remember as a kid we played like this (as per Space Hulk rules). The Space crusade rules were not clear in that regards.

I've never played Space Crusade as a boardgame or on a computer, but Wow! You're commitment to operational detail and old-school aesthetic is impressive as you improve this classic.

Thank you very much. I knew this PC game since I was a kid but never liked so much because of the poor italian translation that totally ruined the game for me. I really did enjoy the boardgame and I was a big fan, more than I was of heroquest.
Now I have the "skill" to fix it (I started to learn assembly a couple of years ago) and thankfully a community that gives suggestions and support.

37- Movement now ends as soon as an attack is performed. BUG

fixed also the "movement split" regression. Let me know of any strange behaviours or bugs.

38- Fixed a bug on fast systems that deselected the Commander’s weapon when entering the Armory. BUG
39- In the equipment selection screen, the Targeter now shows which weapon it is assigned to. FEATURE
