Cool... once again, the Monk looks to be a broken Hero, too much power difference compared with the rest.

Bit surprised about the good performance of the Bard, to be honest. He always looked to me a Hero with low development chances in terms of useful equipment to be bought as long as the campaign progresses, but it is true his spell cards give him a few more opportunities to shine, so maybe my surprise is nto justified at all.

The rest of Heroes are clasified as I would expect.

The Bard actually CAN wear metal Armor, so he's not as limited as you might think. I find that the Bard needs to really heavily on that extra defense dice, not wanting to lose it, he'll go for Bracers first. He can certainly move up to 5 defense dice by later buying a Helmet and Shield when gold becomes less detrimental. He definitely needed it for the Dragon. I realize when playing the Druid, she casts the healing spells early on to regain her Shapeshift spell instead of waiting like many heroes, who wait until near dear to take a potion. Though there's no benefit for the Bard, as soon as he loses 2BP that's when he uses Healing Song, keeping his body points up keeps Moral high. His Healing Song also helps to preserve the Mercenaries who already lost 1BP.

Yeah, understood. Due to old discussions in the Inn about a relative topic, I thought the Bard was not able to wear metal armor, but I just confused him with the Druid. All clear now

Just to inform about Amalgamash has posted this cool video on YouTube, showing and reviewing a full unboxing of an unpunched copy of the Japanese classic version of Hero Quest:
