Sadly, some unscrupulous and greedy individuals are taking advantage of FOMO (as they do every year) trying to sell this stuff on Ebay (please report the sales).
I get it, someone will say they had to do this to fund their dog's surgery (sure...).
Thanks to the guy who scanned these. Keep in mind these are just PAPER.
Three items:
GenCon Poster (Bard advert on one side, "menu" on the other, just for fun)
GenCon GM Screen (covered in backwards text with a mysterious riddle and names of the CoPD quests usable as a makeshift GM screen with folding flaps)
GenCon "exclusive" quest ("Dread on the Horizon" a purported prequel quest "004" by Doug Hopkins and also new narrative designer Lindz for First Light... but with clues about Wizards of Morcar!) - 3 versions exist of this, one that is plain, one with errata fix from Doug in marker and another with a more humorous addition by Doug in marker!
Yes, the quest is a little satiny (almost as good as the paper in the quest booklet) but the "GM Screen" is very thing and easily bent cardstock. The "edges" can only be bent back and forth so many times before they rip (my friend's which he got autographed ripped the first day). These are just giveaways NOT meant to be fancy components equal to what you buy, so please keep that in mind. You could probably print it on sturdier material!
There were no "giveaway" dice or HQ dice of any kind (other than the black ones that came inside CoPD that was sold at the con WITHOUT any extras).
The Adventure Design Kit is identical to the one from last year except they had TONS of them this time (they shoved 12 of them into my hands on the last day just to get rid of them, and I'm giving them to fans, charging only shipping and I get the cheapest shipping I can! if someone can't afford shipping I'm not going to worry about it much) and the ink is GREEN instead of PURPLE and it says 2025 instead of 2024. Yes, the caverns board is on the reverse side just like last year.
Last year for those who remember they had very few of them so they gave them to influencers mostly before they rant out (sadly). We put up scans of those right away with their blessings.
The "Inn Flier" is just for fun, art by Rob and it has a somewhat satiny surface.
Remember these are NOT for re-sale! (duh)
Whoever scanned these on HeroQuestFans, he is certainly a CHAMP!
