I checked the link for amazon and it says no offers available. There is no way to buy it unless you buy from another seller charging $65.

It's up on BBTS. As a preorder. Really ticked off that I didn't get an email notification. They usually send one if you ordered a related product before.

My local Gamestops all claim they stopped selling board games, only things that are left are on their website (no Ogre Horde). Nothing from Barnes & Noble, Walmart or Best Buy either. But yes, pre-orders on BBTS & Entertainment Earth (APRIL).

Amazon will get more, and Pulse will have 'em (surely) by the first... so 3 days.

I think it has not being leaked, but new pictures posted on Facebook says that Ogre Mercenary monster may be hired by 150 gold coins...

Ogre Merc stats are M8 AD4 DD4 BP4 MP1

Do you think 150 gold coins is a fair price compared with mercenaries from FH quest pack?

So many new things... on Discord we are seeing all of the pages (being careful to respect the rules of this forum of course).

"Bone" weapons that can't be sold for gold but otherwise function like the real thing.
Pit of Dread can be survived if you move out of it on your next turn immediately (but Zargon is encouraged to march Dominated heroes in there!).
Pits of Darkness mention "metal armor" vs. "non-metal armor" effects.
Tournament (first 3 quests) can be skipped if one wishes.
You can create custom tournament rosters.
Zargon gets oversight on what to do if a hero gets trapped in an area because of a falling block trap (including leaving him trapped but letting him use the animal companion).
Wolf and Ogre Mercenary are pretty restricted and nothing about hiring outside mercenaries from other expansions this time.
No Alchemist Shop, or list of extra artifacts at the end. :(
Multi-phase monsters (for example Abomination that gets new stats when "defeated" the first time... coming back in enraged form).
Rolling dice to claim different gold rewards after winning a bout!
Monster vs. Monster battles in the tournament!
New intro and epilogue explaining the story. Ogres aren't all bad, but there's still plenty of bad ones to fight.
Unthreatened movement (as in Into the Northlands) written into the book as an option.
Mind Blast is renamed Mind Burst.
No "Ogre King" it's the Ogre Lord. The Ogre Chieftain is now called the Ogre Commander in the book.
"Riposte" tile for tournament, lets you attack the enemy right back. (wasn't a swinging blade trap tile at all)
"Combat" tiles let you swap out to improve your dice roll (after you rolled).
"Potion" tiles (+2 as in healing that many BP, rather than x2 potions as I misread originally).
Discard a tile to get a burst of speed (2 extra squares of movement)
Play random tournaments anytime (even between quests, separate from the first three).
0 Mind points is "shock" now like MOTM/ROTDM/FH rather than unconsciousness (and out of the quest) like ROTWL as in the original.
"Skeleton" archers are the proper name, not "Skeletal" though I probably have written that a half a dozen times already, heh.
goblins carrying boomerangs (male) or bombs (female) are both called "goblin archers"

The tournament "teams" could really benefit from Ribby's Remarkable Rims (fanmade) I bet! Team colors...

He's without competition if the other mercenaries are not used in this pack. But I'm not sure. I guess I would have probably said 200. You pay half if he survives to keep him going. I guess you're really not supposed to use the wolf unless there are less than four heroes. Could you use three heroes + wolf + ogre merc?

Ogre Mercenary? I guess that'll be interesting.

Leading up to the speculation on Against the Ogre Horde I was thinking there might be an Ogre Hero, which I probably would've preferred over the Druids. He'd have 10BP, follow the same basic rules as the other heroes that can buy armor except he can weild a Battle Axe with 1 hand and Plate Mail wouldn't slow him down; Gets +1AD on all attacks. However he can only move with 1 red dice, starts off with 1 Mind Point (Ogre Grog has the reverse effect), he'd have to pay an extra 100 gold for bigger armor.
I guess that was a pipe dream.

It was never the Ogre King, was always the Ogre Lord.

What about the Ogre's blocking monsters as well as heroes? Any word on that?

Bummed that there are no new artifacts so far. I guess they wanted to make this a bit more "action" orientated, what with the arena and all.

I personally dislike the "commander" name. Sounds too rigid or proper for what I think Ogre society is. I think they are more tribal so I'm still calling him the chieftain.

I scoured the pictures that Acebauer posted (granted, I was up pretty late tired and my own copy doesn't arrive till tonight, I can pick it up after my night shift ends!) and there's no mention of the Ogre corridor blocking (originally NO figure could pass by a living Ogre otherwise). With the double size Ogre bosses, they could use that even more. But the original booklet made no mention of whether Veil of Mist still let you pass through an Ogre (Dust of Disappearance and of course the much later added Rogue combat mobility and ROTDM style "Cloak of Shadows" artifact didn't exist when the first ATOH was released in Europe exclusively). *

No mention of the five big healing potions per hero or playing "as a series" (instead they strongly recommend people play the quests in order, but they also suggest skipping the tournaments if you want to play more like the original version... and also give you the option to at any time between quests to jump back into the arena to try to win some more gold.... that I guess if you're not shopping, you don't get to spend on anything except another Ogre mercenary).

Yeah no new artifacts of any kind, but there are LOTS of 1d6 healing potions added now, thanks to the purple treasure chests inserted into formerly empty rooms. You can find chainmail and a crossbow, and you can find battle axes in the arenas (by luck of the dice of course).

The "commander" might have been a last minute PC thing, but I can deal with it. For a long time I think people are going to call that ogre lord the "ogre king." I at first thought that was the official title and was imagining some kind of subplot like a usurper to the throne and you having to "restore" some "true king" in exile or something. Nothing to that. Make up whatever you want.

It really does seem like two games in one box (booklet is twice the size of ROTDM!). The tournament is basically a skirmish game that could be played independently of the quest campaigns and then there's the remake of ATOH from 1990. A big chunk of assets only get used in those arenas. I suppose the Portcullis gates could double as entrance/exit doors instead of having to grab those from your copy of KK/ROTWL or recycling the regular closed doors.

*Since the haslab campaign they've been very careful to rename things that were formerly named the same thing in HQ cards... but here they go and create a new thing that shares the same name with a legacy thing! (from Wizards of Morcar... does this mean the latter won't be released? Nah, but it probably means the name will be changed!)
