Are you familiar with Broadsword, a Hero Quest-inspired game made by Teldurn, a formally active Inn member? He's running an event for it, so you might find it worth a look-see.

I've heard of it but don't know much about it otherwise. I tried searching for "broadsword" and "broad sword" but don't find any ticketed listings from the GenCon website. Any help finding it, like a company name, or maybe he's floor walking and just setting up a game somewhere like some of us?

I was made aware of this thread while I was in the middle of running a game of Broadsword at Gen Con. Even though all my events are sold out, please drop by. I am happy to accommodate an extra player, even if there are no-shows, but especially if someone doesn't show up.

I am part of the Conspiracy of Gamers group, not under my own individual Bloody Eye Games. I am in Hall B, at the purple tables, across the aisle from Slugfest Games (look for the giant Red Dragon Inn banner on the ceiling). All of our group tables have a Conspiracy of Gamers placard on them so you can't miss it. Plus, I have a large table sign with Broadsword on it.

Edit: I run games at 8am and 1pm Thursday through Saturday.

Everybody told me I should get a smart phone for the event. I ignored them. You're the second person that was there that I totally missed, sorry! I walked by there many times and didn't realize what was in that area.

Hope you had fun though! I finally did get into a few games but I don't think I finished a single HeroQuest game the whole week. Had a blast trying...

I'll be running my usual 8a/1p games again next year. I can't guarantee I can always accommodate an extra seat if a game is sold out, though, so you might want to make sure to sign up when event registration goes live next year to grab a seat. I sell out anywhere between hours of event reg going live and a week from it.
