My package arrived, minutes ago. Total incompetence... I have a clearly marked mail room in my complex but the delivery person didn't knock, didn't ring the bell, didn't text me, just set the package out in the open on the back staircase to my building by the trash cans.

Thankfully I got it before any Porch Pirates could notice the 14 pound box marked "TOYS - AVALON HILL MYTHIC."

It was only an hour late, but I did see my email showed it "delivered." So much for the "required signature."

Let the rest of you beware...

So far I see a bent Witch Lord staff and a really sad die.

Got into Game System now and a whole lot of bent weapons. I like the doors. Some of the furniture is nice but some are flimsy (looking at you weapon’s rack). I like how the tomb lid is removable. Not sure what you do with the rats/skulls/rat skulls. There’s no peg holes. Character Sheets look exactly the same as the original NA system.

That die does look bad. It's like a bootleg team finished these with no sleep... thanks for sharing your thoughts though, keep 'em coming!

As for the bent stuff, try dipping it in boiling (or near boiling) water, then dip in cold water and let dry. It should straighten out, at least it works on Reaper Bones plastic miniatures which seem to be of similar material.

I haven't opened the box yet but I'll find out tomorrow if I have any damaged ones.

The die looks like it needs to be re-painted. I need to get some sleep... carry on!

Zargon account holder needs to be fired. Serious question being politely asked and Zargon goes full honey badger.

I'm just going to embrace the ridiculous on that one. I mean since they have no identifiable purpose yet, the above "answer" tells us that yes, they do not have any specific purpose that has been defined at this time. I might direct a serious question at Avalon Hill's twitter, though, just in case. Even so, I'm inclined to consider the above a canon response. Not because it's a good response, but because it's 2021, f**k it.

Going through that latest video, it looks like the quest Lair of the Orc Warlord is still exactly the same. Still says to use the orc with the large sword for Ulag. We don't have a unique orc in the new set. Something that they overlooked maybe?

As Kurgan pointed out earlier, the text remains unchanged from the original NA release of '91. I assume the monsters on the map are also the same, as the unboxing videos indicate. Since Ulag is the only Orc in the room he occupies, any Orc figure can be used without affecting the combat (most likely.) The large sword is only there for fluff. Knowing this, I believe AH left the exact Orc-with-the-large-sword choice up to Zargon. Ulag can now be a papa or mama warlord.

Well not exactly, as the text still also says you killed his father [Ulag] in the passage about Grak in Quest 6

Wow. I checked that Quest and still missed the reference. Well anyway, two identical male Orcs-with-a-large-sword certainly makes the choice easier!

Sorry, somehow in the process of editing the OP I accidentally removed many of the video links from youtube (thankfully most of them were posted in other places in this thread). Basically Cosmic Tavern and deadgamer have posted the most extensive ones on youtube. A few others show one or more interesting details but some of the unboxings to be frank just show the boxes coming out of the box or just show the minis which we've seen before. Each person has their own goals with the unboxings but some of them are like "Hey I bought it for real" as opposed to showing the details we wanted. But a few have certainly gone the extra mile and kudos to all of you!

But again my apologies for leaving anything out and thanks to anyone who posted an unboxing and especially those who answered questions!

to open my FedEx mail and put my HeroQuest order on display for the public. Absolutely unbelievable.

Opening the box alone could get Walgreens for tampering with "mail" which is a federal offense. The persons identification was on the outermost box, not inside individually. everyone has seen the shipping box labeled 1 pcs. in other words the entire box contains 1 thing, should not have been opened.

This entire FedEx thing is getting worse by the day.

Yeah, major breach there. On the other hand, the prophecy was fulfilled here that it would "hit store shelves" this year (too soon?).

This is why I need to stop doing editing when I'm tired, but I accidentally wiped out some sections of the OP... including several unboxing videos I had collected, links to Cael's posts (I have the threads in which they were posted linked at least) and descriptions of the "new" heroes. Then again that latter information has been posted elsewhere and really, the new heroes haven't changed since they were posted in the preview in terms of abilities. But if anyone has any of it saved or can recall some stuff that SHOULD be in that list that isn't, please hit me up when you can and I'll update it (and save a backup more frequently too).
