Joe Manganiello's (not Macaroni) add-on WAS a questpack (with new tiles also) and not a just a questbook.
This was my understanding too. It’s not actually confirmed yet.

Since you asked so nicely...
The weaker Orcs and Goblins are treated as slaves by the rest of the tribe. They do all the menial jobs, especially if the tribe lacks any slaves of their own. Because technically, "even the weakest Orc is tougher than your average human being." Failing that - they get butchered and eaten, especially in lean times.
No "cowboy" Orcs per se, but pirates, bandits, and mercenaries are abound. Pretty much any vocation where you rule by strength and intimidation, you can find a Orc "freebooting" in it. I wouldn't exactly use these terms to describe Bards, unless you are talking about Skalds. There are enough primitive tribes of Orcs (even more primitive than normal Orc standards) that you can get Orc Barbarian clans, with Skalds and Shaman, so either of these could be used to "fix" the Orc Bard and remain consistent to Warhammer and HQ Lore...
"The HeroQuest World is loosely based on the Warhammer World which is the copyright of Games Workshop and is used by their permission."
"Dread Sleep Spell" and a joke about the team being exhausted? Heh...
Thanks for posting (many of us still avoid twitter like the plague).
Someone was commenting on there that they should release the other expansions (agree) with Ogres rebooted as Trolls and Men at Arms rebooted as town guards. Personally I'm not sure why that would be needed, those terms are not trademarked ("Chaos Warriors" and "Fimirs" sound more like that hence the word substitution). Even orcs have been around so long and used in so many other instances since Tolkien popularized it, that nobody worries about it.
Edit: I also momentarily forgot that Troll examples do exist in HeroQuest, specifically through those two White Dwarf published quests, as a separate enemy from an Ogre (The Halls of Durrag-Dol and The Eyes of Chaos). A sneaky way to market another existing Citadel mini to HQ fans? Surely, but true nevertheless (they have different stats than any Ogre).
Phoenix lists these as "unofficial" quests, but I would consider them official insofar as the magazine's connection, and the copyright (they weren't just user submissions to a fan-zine), even though they weren't included in any game system or quest pack box.

They want to release more information but the evil Wizard Zargon (Hasbro) has forced them into silence?
Either way, we're like that audience picture somebody posted, expectantly waiting... uh... anytime?
They said release in Fall 2021, last I checked we're not there yet for several more months. Artwork is cool but I'm more interested in game mechanics changes and content from the new quest books. How much you want to bet there will be an IGN walkthrough posted a week before it ships or something? Or maybe they'll have some obscure youtuber do it, predictably with no fanfare.

That is 4 months. the art on the cards doesn't matter, it doesnt affect a thing in the game, the map/quest art would be more useful since we have only seen a little bit that isnt showing whether or not they will have it actually have the icons for monster and furniture fit the map.
Where is the update that these will be actual 3D minis, and not those clear standees with some kind of paper or drawn art on them for this cost? The only update on the "minis" was...
Will all the models be grey? Based on community feedback, we have decided to differentiate model colors.
Plastic or paper standees can be "differentiated by color".
Remember those people that got painted prototype dwarf Heroes, in a coffin dice box that was painted, with old style dice, but now a new card game appear with giant plastic hollow dice with stickers to put on them, suggesting to many that that may be the kind of dice we get?
They need to start showing the actual product, not just some silly art from the spell/treasure cards that mean little to the overall game. The fact that the "painting blogs" or whatever have stopped as well as everything else on the https://heroquest.avalonhill.com website has gone dead, is probably because the minis are being changed so there is nothing to paint to show how it looks painted.
The damage by radio silence is being done. Look at the replies to that one tweet people are mocking HASBRO the worlds largest game/toy manufacturer for not being able to update people for this long, while little nobodies on Kickstarter can give updates weekly. Not to mention the recent news that WotC is going to be the gaming division at HASBRO, which leads some to believe that since the https://www.wizards.com website still lists Avalon Hillhttps://avalonhill.wizards.com/ after changing its page to use the new WotC logo, has people concerned that HQ will be back in the hands of Wokes of the Coast..
So mechanics can be changed, and we know they are going to be, but if you get crap paper for the $100~$200 people paid instead of resin/plastic minis.. then there will be hell to pay!
And thought * I * was cynical and jaded! (just kidding... not about HQ... yet... !). I subbed. I want to hear all views of HQ players myself... another reason I'm here!
I can't imagine they'd send out the set with parts missing (and cardboard stand-ins with a coupon code to use when the plastic is actually done). If Brazilian players want the true nostalgic cardboard-minis they can still print out the designs themselves I'm sure.
The card game seems to have sent a confusing message, I agree, as if the promised quality is in doubt. Will our German friend option out new dice designs? Or does anyone care and will still buy his dice to use with the new set?
But point taken, if Hasbro/Avalon Hill sent me the raw files, I could have sent them to BGM and had a set ready in 2-3 weeks, tops... for one person though, not necessarily 24,000+ sets. Sure, the figures would be 3d printed plastic, rather than polyresin (all the prototypes shown are of the dwarf which appears to be hard rubber type plastic like reaper bones), but it would be done.
Are they still creating art as we speak? Yeah, doesn't make the wait any easier not knowing what the heck is going on.
