WAS a boxer. He’s not with us anymore, but the joke is he’s still backed it. Remind you of any elections lately?

So, something not applicable to HeroQuest.

So can we keep the discussion on HeroQuest?

Look at this thing... this must be the female Abomination. At first I dismissed it (before the high-res image) as just a boring recycling of the default model without weapons and a slightly different pose.

Could be my imagination, but I see what appears to be jewelry and bikini bottoms.

Dread Warrior female? Yes, I do think so. Not the more slender feet/legs and large rounded area in the upper torso (armor, but still).

This pattern leads me to believe that the Skeletons with the shields are probably also intended to be female (the pelvis is covered up by a shredded loincloth though).

Hasbro, I take back what I half-jokingly said about your commitment to equality.

I could definitely see the Abomination as female. It has long flowing hair ... er tentacles ...?

The second Dread Warrior ... maybe? It’s not specifically a feminine sculpt...

Much digital ink has been spilled in the controversy over fantasy female armor that emphasizes the bust. And while this style of decorative armor finds its way onto the Elf and Orc models, others have speculated (shadiversity among them) that if more women had been knights in the middle ages, we'd eventually have seen a practical version of "boob plate," much like this. Just because you're evil, doesn't mean you can't have comfortable upper body armor!

And as for the female Skeleton:

If you're going to paint this one, I suggest painting the famous "black & white bunny/walrus" image over the shield.

I am wondering now too if the Gargoyle (that didn't get unlocked) was intended to be female. Sure, there is no pronunced bosom, but I was thinking, if it's based on a Bat design... female bats don't have very pronounced mammary glands (mostly covered up by fur anyway). The unlock Gargoyle was going to have smaller horns and smaller feet than the default one. Not every species has the males being bigger and more muscular than the females, but given the humanoid form of the monsters, it's not that surprising. Oh well.

Tried to compare them a little better. A higher res pic of the original model would be nice (there's a painting on the box cover).
