3.0 quest book will be fun to look at but if it is a Bard Expansion Pack I can see it never getting used as that bard is 100% not how we HQ. (Singing in the dungeon is a bad idea, that is how you let the skelingtons know where you are.)

The acoustics are great, though!

Seriously I like the look of that female Mummy and Zombie... I think they actually look better than the basic male versions. More quests are always good but I was way more excited for the Stephen Baker content (due to his status as OG HQ creator). As for the new Heroes... Druid/Warlock have some interesting things but overall I think the community has created cooler stuff than this, if I'm being perfectly honest. Not saying I wouldn't try it if it were available, of course.

If a community member created the Bard, I'd say "NICE WORK" but since it's official for $3mill, I'm like "meh... a comedy character? okay..." at least he's not a separate stretch goal.

Are they still having the "create your own quest" feature in the quest book? I assume so. So why not just release new spells, artifacts, etc and let us create what we want? I'd take that over attempts like this, honestly. But then I guess they'd be catering to the mod community instead of the average player (which are they doing? do they still want us to paint all the minis?).

You sure singing in the dungeon is a bad idea? You just need to convince the bard to run in the opposite direction and lure everything away from the rest of the group!

The only benefit to the new ("warhammer" unlock) Orcs is having an easily distinguishable "boss" Orc, since they goofed up the figure distribution (original set had one more "scimitar" orc than the others, and a single "notched sword" for special Orc quest characters). Of course if you are painting them, you could always designate the "boss" with a special paint job.

When you get the Mythic Tier, you already get the equivalent of Kellar's Keep included, so you will have plenty of Orcs to populate your missions, just as ROTWL (also included in Mythic Tier) gives you "enough" Undead.

Of all the unlocks, only the Stephen Baker quest book and the female zombie/mummy got me excited. Not that we can't work with the new Heroes, they just don't seem that cool/interesting overall. No offense to the designers... the Warlock is essentially a ranger.

There's already at least one person scalping this set on Ebay... He's sold 4 of 6 sets for $300 ($200 for mythic plus $100 shipping).

I don't see anything bad for this. Ebay charges 10% fees on the sale, Paypal charges 5% on the final value (also on the shipping costs). So 300-15%=255 USD -149 (mythic tier) -30(hasbro shipping costs)=76 USD of real earning.
He's doing a service for people that can not buy it because outside of the selected countries and earning his part. When I pay my friend in the USA for this he usually ships with about 50/70 usd of shipping (depending on the weight), plus I usually give him 20 usd for the disturb to receive the item, go to the Post office and reship it to me.
I also tried to simulate to buy multiple copies (5 is the maximum available) and Hasbro charged me 5 separate shipping costs. So he's only earning 76 usd or 65 Eur or 59 gbp for each shipping.
I only hope he will ship for real and will not scam people because even if you pay by paypal you can NOT use their protection after one year has passed

He'd be scalping any US buyers. The sale makes it appear you can get the game now (or within a week of Nov 1st) when in reality he will have their money for a whole year before they'd see any product.

Plus relying on the buyer to visit the Hasbro site themselves and read up to find out the release schedule, price, etc.

If it were me wanting this "service", I'd rather message somebody on this forum and work out a deal. There's no protection if you go through Paypal/Ebay (other than filing a dispute and giving him negative feedback).

I myself got burned on a PayPal sale of a product (unrelated) that was never released after a year. I'll never get my money back.. lesson learned!

Hopefully Hasbro will undercut guys like this by shipping in other countries without the horrendous international shipping hike. Still not as bad as the guy selling Ye Olde Inn cards he printed from MPC on there!

I wonder if that's a typo though.. 149.99 British pounds is more than 149 US dollars (more like $193.66).

And EB Games (Australia). $300 (equivalent to $212.44 USD). It says "available September 2021" which is cool.

and Might Ape (New Zealand) gives release date as Oct 31, 2021. $329 (equivalent to 217.38 USD)

It’s actually against eBay policies to sell pre-orders like that transaction is suggesting. As they have to be shipped within 30
Days of the auction closing. And they haven’t explicitly identified that it is a pre-sale/pre-order for a product that doesn’t exist yet. The auction implied it by providing a link to the external Hasbro haslab site, but it doesn’t actually state it.
