I'm a little naive on the sex work analogies as a gay man in prime who hasn't had to hire anything yet I have nothing against the practice and wish it was more legal in the US since I don't even know how to go after that without being stupid and getting arrested.

I played Fireball island original and the reboot. The reboot was an insult to it's memory. I tried to play it at a gaming bar with friends thinking it would be incredibly fun (it was) but the new version wasn't at all to me.

As an owner of all the expansions and original HeroQuest, if it brings the game to more people I'm happy this is happening. If they change too much or it devalues the originals, which some of us invested way too much to purchase, I'd be a bit pissed and will hope it fails (that's just how I feel after dropping that cash).

Mentor and Witch Lord, front and back.

With Mentor and the Witch Lord, I'd say there is more than a passing resemblance to the sorcerer from Disney's Sorcerer's Apprentice Mikey Mouse short in Fantasia, and the Horned King from Disney's Black Cauldron. Not enough for lawyers to get in a tissy over though.

They also seem to answer the age old question of who the Wizard on the Evil Wizard screen actually is, Mentor or Morcar.
A lot of people always assumed it was a Morcar sending out his minions, but it was actually Mentor, brandishing an open Loretome and simply showing the Heroes the monsters they would encounter, rather than commanding them in the literal sense.

The +2 skellies isn't just two more skeletons, it's two more skeletons with a different pose and different equipment. Variety is good.

Wouldn't it be sad if somehow Gamezone prevented Hasbro from releasing this outside of North America?
It would also be freaking hilarious (In the laughing because if not I would be throwing my laptop through a brick wall king of way) if the only thing Gamezone did properly was the legal stuff that screwed over fans.

Maybe I just haven't played the game enough, I don't ever remember the chaos warlock being used except as a stand in for another character in the base game. If they're making specific mini's for characters, are they basically making this mini obsolete?

I know that it says these mini's are exclusive to this campaign, maybe this confirms plans to make the game available to retailers after production.

Chaos Warlock is 100% a use this mini to represent {SOMEONE} in the core game... But that being said, us fans have put generic chaos warlocks in our quests a few times so I'm glad they are including it.
There are also others that they have not shown minis for. (Fire Mage, Witch Queen, and Skullmar come to mind without thinking hard.)

Out of curiosity, was Ragnar a fan favorite for a lot of people? I seem to remember him becoming a baddy in the lore, but now can't seem to find that again...

Yeah, it was quest text that he succumbed to Choas manic and was a traitor. He was executed.
