Interesting that the Twitter response to this seems to almost universally be people upset that it's US/Canadian only. A ton of UK fans who would love to get in on this. This thing would probably be fully funded right now if they could.

I wonder if its for rights reasons and GW being based out of the UK?

So the "Mythic" is Kellar's Keep and Return of the Witch Lord. And ONCE AGAIN they've confused "mentor" with "Zargon." Listen up Hasbro.. the guy with the white beard and book, that EVIL GUY commanding the Monsters, that's not Mentor! It's Morcar (ie: Zargon), the bad guy. Mentor is the good guy..... oh what's the use. They still have time to fix it.

KK & ROTWL had extra cards, tiles and more (of the same) minis. ROTWL was nice because it had more than double the number of Undead as the game system, while KK just had a second set of greenskins (or gray as they are here).

And yes, there's a bonus "Zargon" (whom they call Mentor) figure and Witch Lord figure with the expansions.

Edit: I get it now, the "Dread Sorcerer" in the base game is the equivalent of our classic Chaos Warlock. The "Warlock" is a NEW limited figure, and so is the Witch Lord himself.

So it will get sold out here and shipped up north and across the pond for inflated prices. Great... :(

All they would have to do is reprint the rule book. Though I guess someone will be missing the Equipment Cards.

I guess the overall cost of a set like this will be slightly higher anyway because the quest book/rulebook have fancy color covers and the funiture is solid plastic instead of half cardboard like the original.

I'm guessing those will be slotted bases, so you could easily mod them for your own bases probably. I'm saying probably, I have no proof, just a hunch.

Haha! I'll always see that as Mentor holding Loretome. I'll always see Zargon in the way he was depicted in the Marvel comic.

Looks like there's a quest book called "The Spirit Queen's Torment", can't tell if that's in the base game or the stretch goal though.

There is also mention of a druid character that has yet to be revealed.

Druids I can understand. But warlocks are bad guys (unless we're not getting the basic "Warlock" that stands in for both good and bad in the base game).

Those "exclusives" will go for high prices online after this I'm sure...

The Santa Claus looking guy with the angry expression and Dracula ripoff cape commanding the monsters was featured in the comic and explicitly called Mentor. That's a mistake, but an ancient one...

In the comics Zargon (Morcar?) was like a more slender, elf looking dude, wasn't he? I forget.

Now if they were twins all along, I guess that would be kind of interesting. If you want to join this old wizard's club, you've got to look like this... (hands cape and stick on beard).
