I was excited,angered,disappointed,pissed off and excited again all in the space of 2 minutes.
A huge part of me wants to pass on this but then again $150 for mythic is not bad base game plus 2 expansions is not bad at all.
Hell I just dropped $100 on eight minis last week alone.
I do like how the extra does get you female counter parts of all hero’s plus the male version of the elf.
I also really like the Sargon witch lord figures.
Fish men. Meh. Should have done swamp beasts instead of abominations but what ever it’s official it’s hero quest it’s 30 years overdue I’m all in.
Now to talk the wife into two sets......muwahahaha

I'm in (for now, at least). Looks like stretch goals include new character classes, and new questbooks too.

As you can see the Hasbro Pulse site has a lot more info. Board is the same size (sorry, slightly bigger in terms of squares) and almost looks identical, just different enough not to get confused on Ebay. The "HeroQuest" logo is on the side rather than the bottom of the board.

"Dread" Spells of course. New artwork but same basic assets.

Actually the miniatures remind me of those "WizKids" "Deep Cuts" figures you see, the pre-primed ones. I'm assuming plastic, not metal... the photos are of digital mockups not the real things yet.

So our custom quests will be "compatible" with this. Other than the different artwork, everything featured or created here will work with what they'll eventually be releasing... that's good news.

Seeing on Twitter that this is US/Canada only??? What the heck Hasbro, UPS/FedEx ships world wide. Open it up for the rest of the world and add a "Shipping Outside US" fee, you will hit your goal faster.

You'll probably see videos of people reviewing it, but beware, they probably got a free "review" copy! At least we know what we're getting, unlike some projects.

For modders like us I don't know how this is special other than it being "official." To normies, this is probably awesome-sauce.

Edit: Okay, I'm sure the all-plastic furniture will be a bonus for a lot of people who like to paint.
