Here is a program I'm working on.

Image

It is a virtual boardgame for HQ. You can find the dices, the furnitures, the boardgame, the cards, the books and all the original material in a virtual way.
It is not a videogame, just a little program which allow you to have the game in a virtual support. So you can play like the normal way but on a PC.

You can views pics of the program and download a quick demo in my blog http://heroquest-reloaded.blogspot.com/ ... rtual.html
Tell me what you think about it. For now, just the wizard miniature is finished, the treasure card deck too, and the dice roller mod with original sounds.

Actually this could be useful for playing online - if it works the way I think it does.
If people had a way of putting together a virtual conference...you could play online
together, seeing the pieces move and everything.

My brother in Australia would just, as Ninja put it; "*lemony goodness* rainbows".

He would be able to join our games online. I actually could of used this tonight; I was visiting GrandMere and brought my board over - since Beernut wasn't hosting this weekend. We did rescue of Sir Fagnar, and I had to use YeOldeInn on my laptop for the QUEST!! The original questbook is buried somewhere on my desk!

So big thanx to drathe yet again!
And super thanx to Grav for this - can't wait for it to be ready!

if someone made something that looked that good way back then, I would think someone could make it even better now. I hope someone picks this back up....
