Been completely restoring my whole heroquest game system ive sense i was 9 years old. Love this site, thank you for all the pdf's. Ive repainted all the minis.. all new cards. All new printed books. Putting the whole system in a foam carry case to make it portable.
Does anyone know where i could get the game board printed on a nice game mat, so i can roll it up and tube it while on the go?

I believe clmckay has had boards printed up. You may want to contact him to see where he had his done. I can't remember who else has done this...

Yes, I've done tons and tons of maps printed up on Vinyl.

I've tried a variety of different companies and a variety of different print options. My favorite is this particular item:

https://www.halfpricebanners.com/prints ... yl-posters

It's a matte finish on both sides. It rolls up nice, so you can transport it in a tube. I lay mine flat when not in use, but I suppose if you roll it up with the artwork out, it will flatten out pretty quick regardless of how long you've stored it. These people are quick and I've never had a problem.

I've done this option as well. It's heavier and has a scrim type back. It was probably overkill, but still.

In any event, make sure you specify NO GROMMETS and the exact cut size you want in the comment box and when they send you the proof.

Again...love the results and have never had a problem with this company.

Here's the main site: https://www.halfpricebanners.com/

As a side note....I print tons of HeroicMaps maps on these and few of the Paizo Flip mats. I tried the Hi-Res option once:

https://www.halfpricebanners.com/banner ... -res-vinyl

There's no difference. It should've been obvious to me, but it wasn't. Both of those map sources are in a fixed DPI, there was no added benefit to the Hi-Res.

I meant more of a gaming mat, like used in 40,000 k, or warmachine, hordes, ive done vinyal graphics for years, and am a professional "wrap" installer, on vehicles... boats... walls... so on.
I have acccess to a 60 inch printer, on 3M 1080-I wrap material.
I would like a heroquest board, inlarged 5 percent, and printed on the same material as play mats used for "magic the gathering"

If you want the cushion, get a yoga mat to mount the vinyl onto.
If you want someone else to make one, try someone like https://www.inkedgaming.com

I bought one on eBay. Let me see if I can find the receipt.

What part of Montana are you in?

This guy has made plenty of cool variations of the HeroQuest board. Looks like he is out of the regular one. Maybe we can talk him in to making more; I wouldn't mind a backup. They are great quality, but shipping to the US was expensive. The squares are 30mm.

That is so freaking cool!
But the price tag is a little bigger than my wallet right now.
