When I printed out my quest packs I printed everything on sticker paper and stuck it to parts of shoe boxes. Tosay i went one step further. I bought an old board game from a local thrift store. It has a board which might be big enoug for 'Into the Sewers' and contains lots of pieces for tiles and character cards and even plastic stands that should work for the wall spells.

I would highly recommend hitting your local thrift store to pick ip unloved and obscure board games for parts. Just make sure you measure your boards first. I might be cutting it close wih my board after all.

Been thinking the same, but so far I haven't found anything cheap that was big enough. It's a good idea though, pick up an old board from any game for $1, and glue a new map on it.

Which game did you get by the way?

I think it is called sweet valley high. It is apparently all about getting a date in time for the school dance, haha. I felt embarassed walking to my car with the box.

Try lookin for MB games specifically. They apparently used many of the same size board , tile and card blanks to produce their products. I guess it would save money.

Haha, yup, that's it. On the bright side, they have character tiles/cards that are the same thickness as the ones for HQ though wider. I am so going to make so many character cards and tiles. Another note, I got a monopoly parts box with three boards a bunch of buildings, deeds, money and chance cards for a buck. The best find is the little 'bank' tray for keeping the money separate. US HQ cards for monsters, artifacts, and what not fit absolutely perfectly.

There is an old MB game called Broadsides & Boarding Parties. If you even so much as catch a whiff of that piratical bastard while outing for boards, let me know or just snag it up and I'll do things to you.
