yeah I can't have a paypal
a number of years ago I got identified as connected to the cannabis trade (I was selling weed seeds) and banned for life for being a 'narcotics dealer' so they banned me for life!

Still six different color sets. Every combination of the individual icons in the original set is present. No blanks. No repeats.

If we were to add new dice with different distributions of symbols, I feel like you'd want to have a specific aim for each one. You can double up in some areas because adding skulls can remove shields and vice versa. I'd go with something like this:

Generic super dice:
S SS SS W WW BB

Strong Attack or Strong Hero Defense
S SS SSS W WW WW

Strong Monster Defense or General Weak Attack/Defense
S S W B B BB

But I still think that just swapping out a white shield for a bonus symbol would cover a lot of what you might want to do in adding variety.

You could go further still and make the skulls different, so maybe you have a cracked skull image that counts as two skulls when rolled using a certain weapon.

The german dice site is taking orders again but be careful when entering your address. I once typed the full zip code (with the extension at the end) and they couldn't figure it out. I had to send it to a different address (family member) and then it got reset so now it works. They tend to communicate, it just takes time. It helps if you know a little German or at least use a translator (I use the babylon translator).

Another update on these. After having and using them for a year or so I have noticed that the dice I have (mainly the white but a few black also, and possibly yellow) that have a "glossy" finish have a gumminess/tackiness to the paint over time which causes lint and grime to accumulate (whether from hands or from felt lined dice cups/boxes), and kind of ruins the design. At first I would painstakingly scrape it off with my fingernail through a cloth, after carefully washing it with dish soap. I found that this problem doesn't seem to exist with the "matte" finish ones. So while the glossy dice look nicer, actual use would determine whatever paint he's using to stamp out the symbols is better served with the matte finish as it doesn't adhere as well to the glossy version.

To prevent further degradation of the images, I went ahead and slathered on a clear coat of duraclear satin varnish to the faces of the shiny dice. I should have done that first thing.

So if you are ordering from him, please request "matte finish, not glossy" if you can.

I have Black, Blue, Green, Orange, Yellow, Purple, White. The distribution of the faces seem to have not changed in a long time.

I ordered a set of white and a set of orange dice from the German site on Tuesday 12th and they arrived today, Saturday 16th. Fantastic service and now I can play the Mound of the Beastmen expansion as well as the new HQ card game which arrived yesterday.

Nice. I'm in the US and I haven't heard a thing about my order in two months... hopefully my dice haven't been lost.

They're not responding to emails. So I don't know if the guy got sick (hope not!), or if there's some kind of restriction on shipping... the owner mentioned that on my previous order, how things were delayed severely. So I don't know what's going on, if you were planning to order dice, you might want to wait until he comes back.

Kurgan, I took a little over two months for me to get my dice (felt forever), but the issue wasn't really the vendor though he is terrible with communication which exacerbates the waiting. The issue is the pandemic mailing protocols between Germany and the U.S. I'm not clear on all of the details, its just really slow. And that is an understatement. I received my dice finally and really enjoy them. However, I found a few vendors on Etsy who were willing to custom create the dice and they look just as good. I even got them much quicker. Still took a month, but they were just as good and play nicely. As a result, I have the German dice (now) plus my custom Etsy dice and no one can tell the difference. So more dice for me. Anyway, just my two cents.

Between,

Loke Battle Mats, 2 volume set
Lemmeron's Cards (game setup is really awesome),
The German Dice,
Zealot Miniatures (Heroes),
Mantic Games (for Goblins)
Games WorkShop miniatures (for Chaos Warriors, Greenskins (Orcs), Skaven, Skeletons),

my HeroQuest looks and plays far superior than ever.

I'll dare to say (even though I don't really know, yet) that includes the remake (as far as presentation goes, but we'll see).
