Dungeon Painter Studio for making custom tiles?

Hi there all, my first post on ye old inn!! :D

I wanted to start off my activity on the inn with something a bit more productive than asking newbie questions (I am new to HeroQuest and slowly getting to grips with it);
I've used Dungeon Painter Studio for years now for a lot of digital means, mainly designing boards and tiles for use on Roll20 and Tabletop Simulator, and reckon it'd be perfect for designing both custom tiles and entire boards for HeroQuest too ^^

I personally own it via Steam, and am unsure if it is available elsewhere, and although it is abandonware now I believe, it still is perfectly functional on my device (Windows 10), there's a treasure trove of assets available via the Steam Workshop, and many of those are fantasy themed, so perfect for HQ.

I'm unsure of how to upload images directly to the Inn but have been experimenting with DPS's export options to see how well they print and translate to physical tiles, and thus far I think it is quite promising, the programme has an option to export directly to .pdf for printing, an you can set the square grid to be 1 Inch and adjust the colour of the grid.

In my tests the print out is slightly smaller than 1 inch, which isn't ideal if you're playing the 2021 version of HQ, though I'm sure that's mostly down to my own user error (and using a community library printer to print my test export lol), and in my test I had left the grid in its default colours for the programme which makes visibility poor once printed, though like mentioned above that can be adjusted, which shouldn't be an issue.

Once I've figured out how to gain image privileges (or a 3rd party hosting solution to embed into my posts) I'll come back to this thread to share my examples and talk further about the process, where I've made mistakes e.c.t but for now I just wanted to share knowledge of this tool's existence here as I was unable to find any mention on the forum and thought that was a shame D:

If anyone else has experience with Dungeon Painter Studio, please do share your own thoughts, projects and information that may help myself and others too, as I believe the programme has great homebrew potential, cheers ^^
