No thinkers? here is my idea. "The Fires of Hades". Hero arrives on the secret door tile, transported there from another similar tile, in another room. Directly opposite is an ordinary door. Mentor says " You enter this room, and are enveloped in choking green smoke. You cannot see your way ahead. Roll one red dice to move ahead, then roll again, for your next turn. 1-3 turn left, 4-6 turn right. Turn your Hero to face the correct way. If you have landed on a square with any trace of red in it, roll one combat dice, if a skull you lose one body point, due to the fires & fumes. If you reach a wall, or other obstacle, such as a Monster, stop & roll a red dice for next turn, left-right. A 6 at the start reaches door out."
No reason why Monsters should not enter the room on Morcars turn, and normal attack-defend sequences. I have attached the tile picture so that it can be printed, then squares added of a size to suit ones board.
