Ye Olde Inn

I have this plastic mini.
Spectral looking, translucent green lizard-like body, with a demonic skull-like head with three horn like protrusions sweeping back similar to a triceratops.
About the same size as the dragon mini from DragonStrike.
Any help deciding what sort of creature I could use it as?

Cool! Conan would just refer to this as a "Dragon". That or some cult's demi god.

I would put it in a quest where cultists are attempting to summon it, and the heroes unwittingly complete the blood sacrifice by slaying a cultist. The Jade Idol then comes to life andgoes on a rampage killing everyone. Maybe weapons can't hurt it and you leave clues about how to destroy it/put it back to sleep on the way into the dungeon?

Original Creature: Stalker Beast
It a dangerous predator that hunts on several different planes.
It can jump between planes at ease. It can turn invisible when out of combat and even phase through solid objects.
Luckily because they jump all over the planes they rarely encounter a mate so they are really rare.

I'ts green - I'd use it as one of a couple of things:
1 - Plant beast that serves and protects nature
2 - miniature creature mix of dragon and ooze
3 - extra-planar creature that can jump from place to place using a teleport-like ability, or
.........that is semi-corporeal, and only magical weapons can attack it.

Dragon and/or ooze and/or plant

And the extra planar creature sounds similar in nature to Goblin-Kings suggestion.

One other idea - just thought of now - you could use it as the embodiment of a spell. Maybe
a "summon beast helper" type spell...think Harry Potter patronus that can defend and/or attack.
