I personally love the dragon from Descent 1st edition.

Also good:
D&D Castle Ravenloft "Dracolich"

Both of these are plastics and may be cheaper to get. The Descent one stands on a 2x3 square base, the Dracolich stands on 3x3 inches.

Of course it depents on the price. As much as I've seen at my (much to) frequent visits at Ebay, Heroscape minis are sometimes really cheap for their size. May be a good buy.

Yeah. I don't have much money to spend now. Probably I'll buy this one and, in the future, try to get a better miniature.
Anyway, I'll keep it in secret and, during an adventure, the heroes will be surprised with the new and powerful enemy, hehe.

Reaper has some "bones" dragons, that are WAY cheaper. The material is a little nedy, but it's very durable and has amazing detail.
