Ye Olde Inn

After many months of endless ebay ventures, I finally got my hands on those Dragon Strike figures to complete my wishlist of minis compatible with HeroQuest.
I post this picture now and I vow to have the whole lot painted complete within this year! It includes the minis from Heroquest, Dragon Strike, Dark World, Dungeons and Dragons boardgame plus the 2 expansions. Also there are 4 orc archers and 4 orc fighters from Warhammer Quest and if you add the 11 heroes from the Talisman 3rd edition that I'm expecting in a couple of weeks in the mail, we have a total of 160 miniatures!

When would I ever find the time to play with them?

Just kidding! I'm looking forward to incorporate them into the game whether they are painted or not.

then it is time to reevaluate your going rates.

So, you're doing this professionally? Well, seeing your painted mini's, I might have guessed

Just out of curiosity... How much DO you charge?

Words of advice for those D&D minis-

1) The paint I used (games workshop paints, it's just an acrylic paint) doesn't stick to the surface very well. I used an acrylic spray paint to undercoat them and that worked great.

2) When I varnished them they went all sticky and they still haven't dried fully. I advise testing the varnish on one of them before you roll it out to all of them. You will definitely need to varnish because the plastic is so soft the paint flakes off if you even look at them.
