Which miniatures do I get?

Is that really it?

How about Terror in the Dark?
Any new miniatures?

Useful and detailed info on AHQ on the web isn't exactly common.

I bought a box of skaven clanrats from GW for €17,- to use with HQ (mostly just for fun, and for my Into the Sewers quests, but if I ever get to play AHQ, they will do great!)

That's disappointing! No wonder the franchise died!

They went too far with the whole, "Purchase new miniatures from our expensive Warhammer series to add to your game." The other monsters in the main system came as "tokens". It may have done much better had they included a couple of each as plastic figures. I have no problem expanding a game by buying new monsters, but the base game should have come with all monsters as plastic figures instead of some plastic and the rest "tokens". Even though I got mine for a great price, I still felt ripped off by Games Workshop.

HQ clearly beats AHQ for miniatures, both in number and variety. At least you can use HQ minis for your game.

Only Warhammer Quest had too few tiles. One or the other, apparently.

Well, the good thing is, I bought AHQ recently, and I can simply print the terror in the dark tiles myself along with cards and whatever, and have a complete game
I'd like to get a WHQ set too some day, but only if it's affordable. I can always print everything myself and use proxy minis.

I own just the AHQ tiles. I think I have them all, though.
